I came back for you

25: "promise"

Tay was getting ready for the party. He hired a party planner to help him organize everything. Many people were invited. Earth was still taking a shower. He didn't want to get out. He didn't want this party. He just wanted to stay in bed.

"Hurry up. I'm going downstairs to see how its going" -Tay said to Earth.

Earth was letting the warm water hit his face.
He got out of the bathroom and saw what he was going to wear. Tay chose everything even his outfit.

He went downstairs and didn't want to go to the garden. The party was there. He stood behind one of the windows watching all the guests. Tay was smiling talking to one man and his wife. He hated Tay's smile. Why did he want him so bad? They weren't happy. Why do this party? He kept looking around to see who was at his party. He saw Ohm and Fluke. He hadn't seen Fluke in a long time. He knew about Kao's child and didn't tell him. Could he trust anyone? He saw his father too. He was drinking a glass of wine. Hypocrite. He ruined his life again.

He couldn't go outside. He couldn't act like he was happy. Earth really just wanted to stay in bed.
He was going back to his bedroom when he was suddenly pulled to another bedroom. Someone was covering his mouth and hugging him from behind.

"Don't scream, ok? I'll let you go." It was Kao.

Earth pulled away.

"What are you doing here?" -Earth said getting away from him.

"I just want to talk." -Kao said

"I have to go downstairs. I need to be at my party." -Earth said

"Then why did you come back upstairs? You know you don't want to. You hate this, pretending that you are happy doesn't suit you" -Kao said

Earth just took a breath.

"Tay will come any minute looking for me. You need to leave" -Earth said trying to leave.

"Stop." Kao blocked him again. "Why are you doing this? You hate this life. We love each other. Why can't you just let me show you how good of a family we would be? Yes, I lied about my son but I love you and I think we can work this out. Why come back to Tay? Why? Just. Please Earth. We can be happy together. You'll love my son" -Kao said trying to convice Kao

"No. I don't want to be near your child. Look at me Kao. There is so many things wrong with me. I'm glad you have him. He was something I wouldn't be able to give you. You have a family Kao. I will be fine. Stop chasing after me, yes? Please" -Earth wanting to cry.

"I need you with me. I want you with me. My family isn't complete if you aren't there. There is nothing wrong with you. We will be able to form a family. I promise"  -Kao said. He tried to get near Earth and was successful. Earth let Kao hug him.

"Kao." -Earth said his name.

"Be with me. I love you. I'm sorry it took me so long to come back for you but I won't leave you ever again now that I have you so close" -Kao said and kissed Earth. Earth kissed him back. They kissed for a long time. Earth put his hands around Kao's neck and Kao's hands were around Earth's waist.

Earth pulled away.
"I really have to go downstairs" Earth said.

"You want to be with me. We can leave right now Earth." -Kao said hugging Earth again.

"What if he doesn't like me? What if I make things worse for you two?" -Earth said worried about Kao's child. He came back to Tay because he is scared. Tay doesn't lose, he will hurt them.

"He is a baby, Earth. He will love you. You will only make our lives complete" -Kao said not letting go of Earth. That child is a baby, Earth can't let anything happen to them. Although Kao lied, he still loves him and he loves that Kao loves his son unlike their fathers.

"Earth!" They heard the scream. It was Tay.

"I have to go" -Earth said.

"Promise you'll try to forgive me. Promise that we will be together" Kao said still hugging Earth

"Kao." He looked at him. Earth didn't answer him, he just kissed him. Kao kissed back.

Earth moved away from Kao. He needed to get to that party.
"I have to go" -Earth
"I love you." Kao said and Earth gave him a soft smile.

Earth went out of the bedroom.

"Why are you yelling?" He found Tay coming up the stairs.

"What is taking you so long to come down to the party?" -Tay said angry.

"Calm down! It isn't like people are excited about this. Move." Earth said pushing Tay out of the way to keep going downstairs. Tay stared at him. Earth hadn't yelled at him in a while ever since he found out about Kao's lie. He hadn't even spoken to him more than 2 words.
