33: "brain"

"Are you going to have breakfast?" -Ohm told Fluke who was laying in bed. He hadn't been to work.. He was sad and didn't want to eat or get out of bed.

"No thanks. Have a good day at work" -Fluke said and covered himself with the blanket.

Ohm took a deep breath and left the room. He didn't think it would turn out this way. He just felt like they weren't ready to raise a child but seeing Fluke like this has been painful.

On his way to work, Ohm decided to go to the orphanage instead. He felt uneasy about Yin as well. He must've heard everything and thought Ohm didn't want him.

"Hello" -Ohm said to Yin. Yin was sitting on the sofa reading a book like always.

"Hi" -Yin said standing up and bowing.

"How are you?" Ohm said sitting down with him.

"Fine" -Yin.

"Listen I am sorry about the other day. I know you must've felt sad" -Ohm said.

"It is ok. Where is Fluke?" -Yin said with a low voice. "He hasn't come. I want to tell him I finish the book he gave me" -Yin

"He is sick" -Ohm

"Is he sad?" -Yin said. "I said I didn't want him to be my dad" -Yin said with teary eyes remembering.

"I am going to be honest with you. He is very sad. He loves you very much. I said what I said the other day because I don't know if I will be a good parent to you" -Ohm said. Yin was smart enough to understand.

"I get it. Can you tell Fluke to visit me or would that make him more sad?" - Yin said. Yin is the smartest boy of his age in the orphanage.

"What about we try this again? I'll make an effort to be here with you and that way maybe you change your mind and want to go home with Fluke and I" -Ohm said. He wanted a family and wasn't sure if this was the right way but Fluke wanted it. He was happy as long as Fluke was happy.

"No." -Yin said and Ohm was surprised. "I don't want you to be here if you don't want to. That will make Fluke more sad" -Yin said looking at Ohm and returning to his book. Ohm knew Yin was right. For a six year old, he was very mature and thoughtful.

"I'll bring Fluke with me next time, okay?" Ohm said touching Yin's head and leaving.

Earth spent the night in the hospital with Tay. Pha wouldn't tell him what was happening with Tay. He just said he was worried because he thought Tay was stressing but he knew both were lying. Earth woke up first. Tay had been sleeping alot.

"Good morning" -Pha entered the hospital room.

"Good morning" -Earth said.

"How is he doing?" -Pha asked the nurse that came in with him.

"Good. He didn't have a fever all night but he did wake up around 2 in the morning to tell me his head was hurting" -the nurse said.

"Lets wake him up" -Pha said.

"Hey. How you feeling" Pha told Tay after he had woken up.

"Good. Ready to go home" -Tay said. He hated to be in the hospital.

"Not yet" -Pha said giving him a smile. Tay just rolled his eyes.

"Why would he need to stay longer?" -Earth asked but they were both quiet. Earth rolled his eyes.

"I think I need to change the medication you have at home" -Pha said looking at Tay's chart.

"What medication?" -Earth said. They were silent again. Earth was tired of it. He left the room closing the door loudly. He went to the house and check the whole room for any medicines but he didn't find any. He went to Tay's home office and checked everywhere until he found them. 5 bottles of different pills were in a small bag. He opened them and turned on Tay's computer. Earth knew the password since it was the day they got married. He found out something about Tay that he didn't expect. The medicine were very strong drugs.
He realized that over the last couple of weeks Tay has had many pain in his body and headaches. Everything came to mind. Tay had been weak also. The last time he wanted to have sex with Earth, he couldn't. He thought Tay might be tired to fight him and take him by force but in reality Tay wasn't that strong anymore.
