42: "support 2"

They all ate together but Earth and Kao were silent. War kept talking about his school and Yin. Kao kept feeling guilty about what had happened with Earth.

Earth put War to bed. He would always tell War he loved him and kiss his forehead.
He went downstairs. He didn't want to go in the bedroom with Kao.

He took out a blanket and sat down on the couch. He kept thinking what he could do if Kao kept objecting about Tay's company and how it will be if Kao keeps treating him differently. He was scared. Scared of everything. Scared of being locked up again and doing something someone else wants all the time again. He wanted to cry.

"What are you doing? Come to bed" -Kao said snapping Earth out of his thoughts but Earth ignored him.

"Earth." -Kao sat down next to him. Earth was teary eyed.

"Earth. I'm sorry" -Kao said sitting on his side and hugging him.

"Why do you have to be so mean?" -Earth said. He let Kao hug him.

"I'm sorry. I was being selfish. I am just scared of losing you again" -Kao said. He was worried about Earth getting away from them. The company takes so much time especially for him that doesn't know much.

"You said I can't handle the company and then you sent her for War. Am I that useless?" -Earth said crying. Kao hugged him tighter.

"I'm sorry. I am so jealous that you will pay attention to something else. I haven't been able to be with you for so many years, I keep thinking that you will leave us. I shouldn't have sent her for War. We are his parents and should find a way. I'm sorry, Earth." -Kao said placing Earth on his lap with his legs open.

"We will go through this together. I promise. I will help you from now on. If you need something tell me. I will support and be there for you" -Kao said holding Earth's cheeks and bringing him in for a kiss.

Earth hugged him and kissed Kao's neck.

That was what Earth needed. Just knowing that Kao would support him made him feel so much better like a big weight was lifting from his chest.

"Thank you" -Earth said softly.

"You have to be careful with Mix. He came into my office when you were in Jeju Island to tell me that he wanted the company but Tay didn't want to sell" -Kao said. He was scared of Earth getting angry but he didn't.

"I know he wants the company" -Earth said. He has known for a while now. It is obvious. The documents he gave him today were something Earth didn't understand quiet well and wanted him to sign but Earth said no. He would read them first.

"Don't sign anything from him" -Kao said. Earth nodded. Kao hugged him again. He was sorry and felt terrible about not supporting Earth. He didn't want Earth to feel alone and mistreated.

They fell asleep on the couch. Kao woke up at midnight and carried Earth to their bedroom. He laid him on the bed and went for War. He carried War to their bed and hugged the two of them tightly.

It was already Sunday morning. Earth had a tough week at work but he got through it with the help of Kao. He would take documents home so Kao could explain the ones he wouldn't understand. He also had Tay's laptop which had many useful things.

"Good morning" -Fluke said to Yin. Yin smiled.

"Your uncle Earth will take care of you today because I have to go to the restaurant" -Fluke said. Kao and Ohm had work.

"Yes. I want to" -Yin said. He wanted to see War.

"Have breakfast" -Fluke said. Yin sat down.
