28: "you" 🔞

Kao's plan didn't work that night but he did plan everything better for the next day.
Earth behaved really good at the breakfast with Tay. Tay was annoyingly happy with a deal he closed during breakfast. It was night already, Tay and Earth were at the hotel's bar. He could see Kao sitting a few tables away. Earth had heard that Kao closed a deal too. Fluke and Ohm were probably with War.
Tay kept talking about the deal and how they would take a vacation soon but he was just drunk. It was really late and Earth helped Tay to their room. Earth knew what would happen next. Tay would want to celebrate but as soon as Tay touched the bed, he fell asleep. Earth was confused. Tay did drink and was kind of drunk but not to pass out.

There was a knock on the door. He went to see who it was. It was Kao. He opened the door.

"Are you crazy?" -Earth said.

"He won't wake up for at least 6 hours" Kao said. Earth was shocked.

"What did you do?" Earth said. Kao opened the door wider and went in the room.

"It was just a little pill."-Kao paid the bartender to slip a sleeping pill on Tay's drink.

"Get out." -Earth said. He was scared someone would see them.

Kao closed the door.
"Why are you being like this? You promised you would try, remember?" -Kao said.

"I never promised anything" Earth said which was true. That night during the anniversary party, he only kissed Kao back but he didn't promise to anything.

Kao just sighed. He could see Earth's serious tone.

"You kissed me back that day and-" -Kao said but Earth interupted.

"I kissed you so you wouldn't make a scene. I didn't want Tay to find out" -Earth said.

"I don't believe you." Kao grabbed Earth by his waist and pulled him closer.

"I know yesterday you felt uncomfortable with War and maybe it got you a little scared but he kept asking for you. He knows who you are. He wants to get to know you. I am sure you two will love each other like I love you both" Kao said close to Earth's lips.

Tay made a noise on his sleep which made Earth push Kao away.

"Lets go." Kao said grabbing Earth's hand.

"I'm scared he will wake up" -Earth said

"He won't. Come on" Kao said. Earth followed him to Kao's room.

Kao opened the door for him and went in.

"Where is War?" Earth said.

"He is with Ohm and Fluke"-Kao said closing the door.

"Look at me" Kao said grabbing Earth's face with both hands.
"I know you think you shouldn't be near War but somehow he is already attached to you. You deserve happiness. We can be such a wonderful family. I know you are scared but we will be fine. I love you so much" -Kao

"I just- I just think that I would be an awful parent to him. All that has happened to me doesn't make me a better person. Kao I think you are making a mistake telling him that we will be a family" -Earth said.

"I am not making a mistake. You won't be an awful parent. You will be good. It just that initial fear against kids" Kao said with a small chuckle. "He is a good kid. He will love and respect you so much" Kao said. Earth was silent.

"Earth. I need you to promise me that you will try. I know you want to be with me." Kao said and Earth kissed him but Kao pulled away.

"I won't fall for that. I need the words." Kao said.
