Inside the Mind of a Child (Special 1)

Discovered a poem, perhaps my very first, that I wrote in 2012 for 4th grade.

I am curious and thoughtful

I wonder what my life is really for

I hear the hooves from horses galloping

I see dragons roaming on the earth

I want to see the power of a horse

I am curious and thoughtful

I pretend that I have the heart and soul of an eagle

I feel the wisdom from a wolf

I touch a scaly touch from a reptile

I worry that tigers might be extinct

I cry that outsiders (aliens) are real

I am curious and thoughtful

I understand that we don't live forever

I say we should live our lives while we can

I dream that tornadoes won't be so bad in the future

I try to keep my behavior good

I hope that people will stop war and destroying habitats

I am curious and thoughtful.
