Chapter 25

These are warnings for both this chapter and the last chapter. I was planning on making it all a single chapter but it was just too long so I had to split it and just did not want to organize which warning is for which chapter. Remember if you need a summary, please let time know and I will provide one.

This chapter is dedicated to Virgillikesfanfic. Madi. Madi, Madi, Madi. Oh my gosh, there are so many nice and wonderful things I could say about you right now. But let's start with this. For the many of you who don't know, Madi is in love with ferrets. (which is why this chapter has been dedicated to them, you'll see later on) Madi and I are in a group chat together and I swear that if she doesn't post a picture of a ferret photoshopped to look like Remus then that's when I know to be worried. Madi, you are funny and kind. You're always looking out for us and always there to give me a hand. You've helped me come up with plot points, pick out minor details about my book, and figure out how to word things. These things may not seem like a big deal but honestly, you have saved my life. You have listened to me rant about teachers, and students, and have probably heard about my crush more times than everyone else to the point where you know everything I know about them. You are so goddamn patient with me and I honestly wonder daily why the hell you're even my friend because of everything I put you through. I don't deserve you. You are smart, you are unique, you come up with great outside-the-box ideas and you put them to action! I don't know how I would have survived quarantine without you and the other members of our little famILY. You made everything bearable, you made things make sense to me. You helped me figure things out. Hell, I think you guys are one of the reasons I was able to figure out my sexuality. I love you! You're amazing! I need you to know that. I hope you enjoy this chapter.

P.S: Madi had this book idea. It's a poly ship with Introloceit where Remus lives in a magical trashcan. Janus is able to shift from a snake into a human form and after someone tries to throw him away in a box Remus adopts him, not realizing he's an actual person. Logan, Remus's neighbor, is intrigued by the fact that his neighbor lives in a garbage can and pays a visit. The two form a bond before figuring out Janus is a person and then all three of them form a bond. After that, they go on wonderful magical journeys through time and space. This is not a joke. They will probably hate me for telling you this but it needs to be said. If you're at all interested, go bother them about it because I want to read this book too.

Four Hundred and Thirty-Six Days After Escape | Monday | November 3rd | Virgil's Birthday

Virgil was shaking in the snake's grasp, one hand tightly holding his mask to his face while the other was wrapped tightly around his midsection. Virgil hated heights, they terrified him. He glanced around towards the others, Remy had gotten a punch to the face having been distracted and panicked but had recovered quickly and was once again fighting off suited men and the fire bender, along with another super that had joined in the battle. Logan was back to attempting to free civilians and battle Medusa, though his efforts were thwarted as each item he threw was caught by a snake and gently placed back on the ground. Patton was glancing nervously at him but still trying to lead people away. And Roman looked very close to breaking, "I'm okay Princey, do your job, I'll be fine."

Medusa brought Virgil closer to him, "I thought you were a villain like me, Shadow Master," Medusa said, "I thought that if anybody would be willing to help me get rid of heroes like them after what happened last year with Deceit and Duke it'd be you... Don't you find them annoying?"
