TW: Violence, Mentions of Gun
Day One | Saturday | November 25th
Virgil had no idea what time it was, there was no clock in the room and he hadn't seen a clock when he was outside the room either. There were no windows in the room, no change in lighting, no nothing. Nobody had come in since he had been left here and nobody had asked him anything about him being Shadow Master, not that he would have said anything. Janus and Remus may have been evil but their plan for what to do if they got caught was a good enough one and he'd follow it until a better one came along.
He was sitting on the bed, once again his head was tucked between his legs and he had pushed himself into a corner. He had managed to keep himself calm, he had been singing songs from his playlist to himself, though without his phone to play the actual songs he was pitifully aware of just how bad his voice was. Well, he thought it was bad, truth be told Virgil wasn't all that bad at singing. Not as good as Roman but still pretty alright at it.
Anyways, he didn't know what time it was or how long he had been asleep, but he did now he had been awake for about three hours. So it couldn't have been too desperately long.
The sound of the door opening made Virgil sit up straight and look forward where a small group of suited people had gathered. They stared at each other for a moment before Virgil raised an eyebrow at them, "Are you gonna say something or are you just gonna stare?"
One of them stepped forward "Shadow Master-"
"Not my name," Virgil cut in with a growl.
The first sighed and nodded, "Mr. Griffin," Virgil rolled his eyes at the title but nodded, it was better than Shadow Mast he supposed, "We'd like to ask you a few questions. If you would please follow us," they made a gesture for Virgil to get up and follow but Virgil remained sitting on the bed.
"Not without a lawyer or attorney present," Virgil said, "Or at least one of my friends."
"Sir, you won't be getting a lawyer," a second spoke up.
"Well then that's against the law, and don't you think I've already had enough trouble with them?" Virgil smirked slightly, still not moving from the bed.
"Then, we'll have to remove you from the room by force," a third cut in.
Virgil glared at the group, "Try me, boneheads," Virgil replied as he slid to the edge of the bed.
The group looked at each other and whispered before starting towards him. He hadn't actually thought they'd do anything so he was fairly surprised, but then again he had asked for it. Virgil moved completely off the bed, standing ready for a fight. He had had no idea what he was getting into. This was four on one, not exactly the smartest his ideas, was it now?
He dodged the first one who tried to grab him, evaded the second one who tried to punch him, and then kicked at the third who stood in the way. The second came behind him, the first in front in an attempt to trap him. It worked for a moment, the second had gotten a good grip on Virgil's wrist, but they were thinner and lighter than Virgil was and he somehow managed to flip them over his shoulder and into the first one's arms.
The fourth got a few good hits in, Virgil was only able to block a couple of them. It was obvious to him that at some point whoever was responsible for this had caught on to the fact that Virgil could fight without his powers. Virgil managed to dance away from the fourth only for the third to get their revenge and kick him to the ground. He winced in pain when he landed wrong but didn't allow himself to dwell on it too long as he used his legs to sweep whoever was closest to him down and shoot back to his feet.
