Three-Hundred-Eighty-Two Days After Escape | Thursday | September 10th
Virgil shot up in the bed gasping for breath as his alarm continued to ring. Roman groaned before wrapping an arm around him and pulling Virgil close to him, "It's okay Stormcloud, it's just the alarm" Roman mumbled. Virgil sighed with relief as he laid back down, using Roman's other arm as a pillow. "Mmm, turn that silly emo music off Stormcloud, to early"
Virgil laughed lightly as he sat up and reached over Roman's body to reach his phone off the nightstand, "It's seven-thirty Roman, time to get up." Virgil said as he turned off the alarm.
Roman whined and pulled Virgil down again, "No! Cuddle with me."
"Ro, I gotta get up. I have class today"
"But you're warm."
Virgil laughed again, "Roman, Logan, and I have class and if I'm not ready on time he'll leave without me. I need to get up"
Roman sighed before taking his arm off of Virgil's body and allowing him to get up, "Too many nerds in this house," he mumbled tiredly, "There's always somebody studying, or in class, or nerding..."
"Nerding isn't a word Ro," Virgil said as he climbed over Roman.
"Virgil, te amo mucho pero es muy temprano para vocámara" Roman said. (Virgil, I love you so much but it's to early to vocabulary)
Virgil smiled as he stepped onto the ground and walked to his dresser, "It's nobodies fault but your own that you stayed up so late last night on superhero patrol," Roman responded by groaning and burying himself deeper into Virgil's black bedsheets.
The group of four had moved the year before, a house with two floors, four bedrooms, an office, and four bathrooms. They had only been able to afford it because it was out of date and had needed remodeling, luckily most of it they had been able to do themselves. Virgil had the smallest bedroom and shared a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with Patton. Logan and Roman both had their own bathrooms and the larger bedrooms. The last bathroom was on the bottom floor next to the office that was mostly used by Logan and Virgil.
Last night Virgil had fallen asleep in his own room and when Roman finally got home he had joined him. The walls of the room were gray, black electrical tape pasted against them in different outlines of different shapes. Mostly skulls, abbreviations of bands, and lightning bolts but there were a few non-emo shapes as well, courtesy of Roman and Patton of course. A few pieces of artwork also hung upon the wall, an unfinished painting sat on an easel in the corner opposite of his bed and next to the door to the bathroom. At the foot of the bed, a desk had been pushed against the wall for when the only option of studying was his room. And a dresser sat against the other wall, which Virgil stood in front of now.
He smiled as he pulled clothes out of the drawers before heading into the shower. He came out a few minutes later, a cloud of steam following him as he stepped back into the room. His hair had been towel-dried and brushed. The purple hair had been re-died about a week or two ago and was plenty vibrant. Logan had died his hair too, somehow Virgil had been able to convince the nerd himself to get at least part of his hair died dark blue. It ended up turning out pretty good, and Patton had practically screamed at how 'cute' Logan looked with his hair like that. He smiled at the lump still asleep on the bed as he grabbed the black backpack off the ground and packed away the materials he would need, "Ro?" He asked as he looked around the room, "Roman have you seen my hoodie?"
"It's in the closet, I put it away last night." Roman mumbled sleepily "You left it on the ground and Hiro was sleeping on it."
Virgil tsked before sighing with annoyance, "Aw, seriously? It better not smell bad, I really need it today. It's gonna be super stressful and I'm already anxious and I have a test and then work has been crazy and we're presenting projects in art and-"
