Chapter 52

TW: someone potentially taken advantage of (Doesn't actually happen)

Shota had just finished telling the class about their final exams. Explaining how they didn't just have their written test to worry about. They had a practical exam as well. The thing is, they don't know what's going to happen during said exam.

What made all things worse was that if they didn't pass, they wouldn't be allowed to join in for the training camp they would have over the summer. It made Iruka slightly glad she wasn't the only one to be absolutely terrified. Granted she was more worried about the written test than the practicals.

Denki seemed just as scared as Iruka was and she can't blame him, he got the last place during midterms. Mina, on the other hand, seems pretty laid back for someone who got second last. Iruka groaned when Izuku, Shoto and Tenya tried to cheer them up. Saying it wasn't difficult to pass as long as they tried their best.

Of course, Iruka's tried her best. Izuku should know that. When it came to education she barely stayed afloat and now that her summer was on the line she already felt like she was drowning. She didn't want to be left behind but the idea of being able to pass their examination just didn't seem possible.

With the villain attacks and internships, Iruka's barely been able to squeeze in some studying. Granted she could lay back on the rescuing but she wasn't about to add that to her list of excuses.

Momo had offered to help teach anyone who had a difficult time with anything. It didn't take long for a crowd to gather asking if she could help them study. Iruka opened her notebook and weighed her options, deciding who she should study with.

Studying with Yao-momo seems like a good idea but with the number of people studying with her she might have her hands full. Shoji is a great teacher and I'll definitely study with him. Should I study with Kacchan as well? He always knows how to cram info. We have a week too so-

"Iru shouldn't you be heading to English?" Izuku asked.

"Oh yes right right. Thanks, Izu see you later."

"Can I sit with you guys here?"

"Of course you can Iruka come on and join us." Mina chimed. Iruka took a seat next to her.

Iruka wasn't sure at what point Katsuki managed to surround himself with their classmates but she was glad he did. It had started with Eiijiro and soon it was Denki and Hanta. At some point, Mina joined in their little group and it just became a thing.

"Why aren't you eating with the nerd?"

"Table was full." She said simply before going at her food. She wasn't hungry but she made the mistake of eating in front of Katsuki and now she no longer has the choice to not eat.

The conversation fluxed to talking about their exams. Seems like something no one can escape at this point. Denki and Mina seemed to be more concerned about the practicals then the written test.

Could it be robots again? It seems far too simple. Especially considering how so many people easily got past them during the sports festival. A rescue exercise maybe? But that doesn't seem to cover all the basics.

"-ka. Earth to Iruka." A hand waved in front of her.

"Oh sorry sorry, what was it?"

"We were wondering if you had any clue what the practicals could be since you were mumbling about robots," Sero stated.
