Iruka was glad to know that for the next few days they would all get a well deserved rest. Iruka hadn't planned to do much so for the next few days all she did was curl up in her blanket and watch a movie or 10 with her cats. At some point she had invited Izuku and Katsuki to join her movie marathon.
Her dad's were pretty busy with their internship applications, having to sort through them and such. Thankfully Iruka didn't have to deal with the paperwork until after everyone sent in their applications as to who they would be interning with. She was on break after all.
Iruka was in the kitchen making lunch with Katsuki. Izuku had been banned from the kitchen because thanks to his injuries he could barely hold a spoon let alone try to do any cooking.
"I wonder if we could ever have a sleepover with the rest of the class?" Iruka wondered mostly to herself.
"I mean you would have to have a big space if you wanted to hold the entire class especially if you wanted to keep the boys and girls separated. Would that make it less fun? Though I don't think Uncle Shota would really let the girls and boys sleep in the same area especially with how Mineta can be." Izuku rambled on.
"Why would anyone want to sleep anywhere near that grape headed pervert anyways." Katsuki scoffed.
"Well if he had more respect towards anyone like a decent human being there could be a possibility I might let him sleep on the other side of the room, if the room was as big as the beta grounds at UA." Iruka snarked as she continued to stir the pot of stew she was cooking. Katsuki burst out into laughter and Izuku failed to hide his own.
When school finally started Iruka was rather glad to see her classmates. Especially Tenya. His brother was paralysed in the hospital after facing the hero killer Stain. Somehow the raven haired bow didn't seem down nor phased that his brother was in the hospital. At best he may have been worried, which in turn made Iruka worried.
When the trio arrived everyone had been talking about the people that had stopped them on the way to school. Iruka wasn't surprised of course, most of her class had gotten pretty far into the sports festival. Even the trio had gotten stopped. Of course the one that was most recognised were Katsuki and Iruka but Izuku didn't mind it much.
Everyone went dead silent when Shota entered the class. Tsuyu had mentioned that she was glad their teacher was no longer in bandages and he only sighed saying something about Recovery Girl going overboard.
"Today's hero informatics is going to be a little special." There was a nerve wracking pause because knowing Shota he could've given them a pop quiz or test. "It's time to formulate your code names. Your hero names." Everyone cheered in excitement which made Shota have to use his quirk just to shut them up.
Shota explained how the nominations wouldn't really matter until their second and third year and that this year's was more of an interest for future potentials. Soon Aizawa put up the tally of nominations onto the board in front of them.
Oddly enough Shoto had the most followed by Katsuki and Iruka who almost had the same amount. Eijiro and Fumikage followed behind but their numbers were in the hundreds where as the first three were in the thousands.
"Typically the numbers would be more balanced but it seems the attention fell on the three of you." Shota said.
The class went into a hum of whispers, most of which wondered why Shota was highest while Iruka was third. Iruka's thoughts on the other hand were more focused on her green haired friend. Izuku hadn't gotten any nominations which made Iruka feel a little bad for the boy. No scratch that she felt a lot bad but she knew better than to give him pity.
