"If anyone asks I'm nothing more but an old friend," Tomura whispered into Iruka's ear. "I'm just here for a friendly chat and if you try to escape or cry for help you and everyone else in this mall will turn to dust. So why don't we take a seat?"

"Sure, let's talk." Iruka choked out before they moved to some nearby seating.

There was a heavy silence between them. Iruka could hear Tomura's breathing. She could smell the murkiness of his clothes but she chose to look head-on. Do not show you are afraid. Do not let him hurt you. Play by his rules.

Iruka kept her mind focused on not pissing Tomura off but something caught both their attention. There were some kids talking about how cool of a villain Stain was. Something in Tomura changed. From being creepy he suddenly felt deadly.

"Stain Stain Stain. It's always about Stain. I'm the one who released all those Nomu's so why is he the one they talk about." He stopped, seemingly waiting for an answer.

"Maybe it's about ideals," Iruka hummed wondering about it as well. Tomura cocked his head in genuine wonder before Iruka continued on. " Stain wants to rid the heroes who are a part of the cause of the currently very flawed system. People see that. People know his motives and the kind of people he is after. While as you and your league, no one knows what your motives are. Not just that your first impression on the world was the attack on children."

"Stain attacked children." Tomura bit out.

"No one is denying it. But with Stain, there are people that can back his ideals. A lot of people have had to suffer at the hands of our corrupt society and can see Stain changing it in a messed up manner."

"And do you believe in these ideals?" He's curious.

"I believe we live in a corrupt system. I just wish there was a better way to go about it." There was a beat of silence.

"What are your goals?" How is she so calm about this?

"You expect me to tell you what I'm up to?"

"No. No, I don't but it didn't hurt to ask."

"Oh? Are you confident that just because I haven't killed you that I wouldn't do it? I could kill 40 people, maybe even more, before anyone would notice." Iruka kept looking ahead. Don't move a muscle. Don't show your fear.

"Iruka?" Hitoshi had been wandering around for a while as he tried searching for Iruka. He wasn't sure where she had gone to but hopefully, she wasn't far. If his hands weren't full he would've called her.

So imagine his surprise when he saw Iruka sitting next to a hooded man. She wasn't look at him like one would during a conversation but instead straight ahead as though her thoughts were in a different realm.

"Toshi! Hey, you got the coffees?" Iruka cheered.

"Uh ya. Um Iruka who's this?"

"Oh this is an old friend of mine back in elementary school." Iruka flung her hand over Tomura's shoulder as though he really was just a friend. This caused Iruka to bump into him, making his finger slip, decaying Iruka's skin slightly before he quickly lifted a finger. "Isn't that right Gray-kun?" She smiled as though nothing had happened, as though her neck was bleeding.
