Chapter 26

"That was coming from the plaza, Kero." Tsuyu pointed out.

"That was Kacchan. Here get Aizawa Sensei back to Thirteen. I'm going to help Kacchan." Izuku said, passing Shota to Tsuyu before running off.

"No, wait. Dammit. Tsuyu, Mineta do you think you can get Mr Aizawa back on your own?" Iruka said in a panic.

"Yes we can, Kero. Go help Midoriya." Iruka nodded and changed into a hawk.

She flew towards the shipwreck. She saw a glimmer of ice followed by an explosion. Todoroki must be here too. They were trying to battle that Nomu thing from before. Once again she transformed into a humongous lion and aimed her mouth right at the Nomu's torso again.

"Iruka! What the fucking hell?!" Katsuki yelled. She ignored him and bit harder onto the Nomu and pinned it down with her paws.

"Someone can match my Nomu. I've never seen such power in a child." The blue-haired man said.

Soon there was a 2 on 1 fight between the villain and Izuku and Shoto. Katsuki had been holding the warp villain down. Kirishima was there as well but he couldn't do much other than making sure Katsuki didn't explode the villain to pieces. He couldn't get near the other villain either since it was easy to figure out that anything he touched would disintegrate.

Iruka was slowly getting a horrible headache and her size grew smaller. She tried her best to keep the Nomu down but she was losing power too fast and she didn't know if she was allowed to kill it. When Iruka was around 3 times the size of an average lion, Nomu was able to push her right off. Iruka went in to pounce on it again or distract it but the thing punched her right in the ribs. She was pushed back so far she now laid on the floor in between her friends and the blue haired villain.

"Looks like your friend couldn't handle the power of my Nomu." The villain wasn't completely right.

Iruka got up from the ground and roared at the villain. She wasn't going to let anyone get hurt. "Iruka don't, we can handle this on our own dammit!" Katsuki scolded her but she didn't transform back in defeat instead she turned to look at him and growled sending shivers down the 4 boys' spines. I can't fight but I can defend.

"Nomu get our way out of here." The blue-haired man ordered. Before anyone could even blink everyone was pushed back and there was a loud smash.

"Kacchan!." Izuku yelled out before turning around and realising Katsuki was right next to him. "Woah you dodged that?"

"No I didn't you nerd."

"Hoho I am here." Amid smoke and dust stood the symbol of peace.

"All Might!" Everyone shouted in surprise.

"I had a feeling something was wrong when Aizawa and Thirteen didn't pick up their phones." He turned towards the students. "Sorry, it got to this point." He looked back at the villains "Now you."

"They may act tough but we can take them, now that All Might is here," Eijiro said, hardening his hands with everyone else ready to fight.

"Don't attack, get out of here."

"But All Might we can help." Izuku protested.

"You've all done well holding them off and I thank you for that but this is different. It'll be alright."

"But All Might," This time Eijiro protested.

"Nomu, Kurogiri finish him. I'll deal with the children."

Iruka had yet to change back. She still stood her ground waiting, willing to protect her friends no matter what.

Once again before anything could happen there was a blast of wind, All Might had started his fight with Nomu. Apparently the Nomu had regeneration and impact absorption. With this knowledge, All Might continuously punched, not even stopping once. Oddly enough the blue haired villain and Kurogiri hadn't attacked them but Iruka wasn't letting her guard down.

With one last mighty (Get it? Mighty cause All Might? Kbye.) punch the Nomu was sent flying. Once again amid dust and smoke stood All Might. He looked worn out and tired yet somehow he was still smiling.

"You defeated my Nomu." The villain said. He started to scratch his neck vigorously, everyone was on their toes.

"What's wrong? Not attacking me? Didn't you say you wanted this level cleared? Well come and get me if you dare."

"Seems like All Might can handle this. Come on let's go back and regroup with everyone else. Don't wanna get taken hostage." Eijiro announced. Iruka hesitantly changed back.

Iruka and Izuku stood their ground. Why Izuku stayed Iruka wasn't sure but Iruka could tell All Might was lying about being able to take the villain.

"Hey dumbass come on All Might can handle this," Katsuki called out to his classmates.

Slowly Kurogiri expanded the purple mist around and Izuku just started to bolt towards them.

"I have to try!" Izuku yelled as he pushed off from the ground jumping towards All Might.

"No!" Iruka and All Might yelled at the same time. Though the difference was Iruka held onto her capture gear launching it so she could pull Izuku back. Iruka saw a familiar hand emerge from the mist. Right on time, Iruka managed to grab Izuku and pull him back. Just as she did she heard 2 gunshots. Gunshots she knew all too well.

"Shit they're here." The villain said. "Kurogiri let's go home."

"They're here," Iruka said barely audible. They're finally here. We're safe. We're really safe. Iruka's eyes became heavy. She wanted to keep them open but she just couldn't do it any longer.

"IRUKA!" Was the last thing she heard before falling unconscious.

Katsuki had caught her right before she hit the floor. He was in a panic. Was this from overuse of her quirk? Is this from injury? Is she dying? " Iru wake up! Hey!" He didn't know what to do. He felt completely helpless.

"Katsuki get Iruka to Recovery Girl, she's by the entrance." It was Cementos. It was odd that he made a wall between All Might and them but Katsuki hadn't had the time to think. He ran to the entrance, Shoto and Eijiro following close behind him.
