Chapter 11

    Zabuza smirked as Chiyo swung the blade in his direction as he dodged the attacks. 

  "How stupid attacking a clone will do nothing" he taunted. He dodged to the side once more only for the black haired female to run past the clone towards Zabuna's real body. He stared at her wide eyes as the blade came closer to his face.

  "Clever, but you still aren't strong enough" the man taunted. He moved to the side the blade grazing his skin. Blood began to drip from the wound, he looked at her surprised.

  "I'm impressed" he said grabbing her out of the air. Chiyo's breath was caught in her throat as her breathing was restricted by the man's hand. Zabuza smirked sadistically as he held the female in the air.

"No wonder you're so skilled" he said pointing towards her mask.

"You're that girl, the one who's entire clan was killed. How tragic" he mocked, Chiyo glared at him as he reached for her mask.

"Why hide your face, are you tha-"

  "Let go of her you bastard" a large black paw landed a blow on his stomach forcing him to let go of the girl. Chiyo fell to the ground taking deep breaths, she looked around as she did her best to regain her composure. She looked towards the lake surprised to see that he was still trapped.

"That was" she said to herself,

"a clone, he used it to distract you" Midnight explained.

   "Damn it" Chiyo cursed under her breath. She grabbed Naruto's fallen headband rejoining her team.

"Are you alright" Naruto yelled, Chiyo smiled holding out the headband. The blond took it from her tying it back around his head. Midnight also joined them,

"we need to free Kakashi" Chiyo said. She knew that without their sensei they had no chance of winning.

"Sasuke, I have a plan" Naruto said, the black haired boy looked surprised for a moment before he nodded.

     "They've finally decided to work together huh?" Chiyo smiled,

  "you think this will work" Midnight asked.

"I know it will" the black haired girl said. She watched as Naruto threw a large Ninja star towards Zabuza's clone, he easily dodged it a smirk on his face thinking he had one. That's when Chiyo spotted something, a previously unseen second ninja star curved around the clone heading towards the real deal. Soon, Zabuza was forced to release the water prison justu and Kakashi which gave the group a fighting chance.

"I underestimated him" Midnight said, now able to fight Kakashi attacked the enemy as the two focused on each other. They both found themselves on the water again as Zabuza stood after shaking himself from a dazed state. Suddenly, he started performing hand signs only for Kakahi to perfectly mimic them. Some of the water rose forming into what looked like dragons. Kakashi didn't let up sending a wave crashing into Zabuza the force knocked him onto land as his body it a tree. A thick, heavy silence settled around the area as team seven looked over at his unmoving form.

  Kakashi trudged out of the water clearly tired from the drawn out battle be had just been in. Before he could check to see if Zabuza was actually dead two needles pierced hus neck. Kakashi froze for a moment scanning above him to see if he could spot who had thrown them. Then, someone emerged landing on a tree branch above the group. The figures face was covered by a mask that resembled Chiyo's and they had long dark hair. The stranger looked at the group for a moment before speaking.

  "Thank you for taking care of him" a male voice spoke. He jumped down from the branch landing next to Zabuza's body.

"I've been tracking him for a while" he continued.

"A tracker ninja" Chiyo said to herself, she looked over at Midnight who was glaring at the stranger with suspicion gleaming in her eyes. She made a note to ask what was wrong later as she watched the boy leave. She barley paid any mind to Naruto's angry yelling,

"Naruto-kun, calm down" she said putting a hand on his shoulder. He became quiet,

"we should keep moving forward" Kakashi said. However after only a couple of steps he fell to the ground unconscious. Chiyo ran over to him having Midnight carry him on her back for the time being.

"He overused his sharingan" she said,

"you can all rest at my home" Tazuna said. The group continued making their way towards the bridge builder's house.
