"It's good to see you're feeling better" Midnight commented as Chiyo looked over herself. All her injuries including the bruises she had sustained were now gone and she was feeling much better.

"You had me worried" The wolf scolded,

"I'm sorry Midnight" she apologized.

"Well, all that matters now is the fact that you weren't hurt too badly" Midnight said.

"Those needles still hurt a lot" the black haired girl said slipping on her mask.

"Chiyo-chan, we're leaving now" Sakura's voice called.

"Lets get going then" Chiyo said as her companion disappeared into a cloud of smoke. Chiyo exited the room meeting up with the rest of team seven.

"I'm glad everything turned out ok" she said,

"So am I" Midnight smiled as the group left the bridge builder's help.

"Thank you for your help" the man said as he stood there with his family. His grandson was looking up at Naruto an upset look on his face.

"I think Naruto-kun made a friend" Chiyo commented.

"It seems so" Midnight chimed, they watched as the little boy ran over to the blond hugging his leg.

"You'll visit, won't you" he asked tears welling up in his eyes. Naruto nodded,

"of course" he reassured giving the boy a smile. As Team seven walked off they waved to the bridge builder and his family finally done with their mission.
----------------------------------------------------------
A few days had passed and team seven were given some less stressful missions to complete. At the moment they were pulling weeds in a woman's garden. Chiyo hummed to herself as she picked out whatever weeds she spotted, taking a break she looked over at Naruto. Noticing what he was doing she tried to get his attention,

"Naruto-kun...." she called his name, he looked over at her giving her a smile.

  "I think-"

"don't worry, I've got this" he said.

"But" she said before the client appeared hands on her hips and a frown on her face as she glared down at the blond. He looked up at her oblivious to his mistake,

"you pulled the special herbs I was growing" she growled angrily hitting him on the head. Chiyo winced feeling bad for him,

"He isn't the smartest out of you all" Midnight said.
----------------------------------------------------------
Team seven were cleaning a local river, the mission simple. Chiyo stood next to Naruto as she picked up whatever trash she spotted. She looked over at the blond who was having no trouble so far. She refocused back on the job picking up some discarded paper, as she did she heard Naruto scream. She looked over at him just in time to see him almost fall over the edge of the waterfall. She quickly grabbed him by the waist pulling him away from the edge.

"Naruto-kun, you need to be more careful" she warned as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously.
------------------------------------------------------------
Chiyo hummed at tune to herself as she waled a medium sized dog, the day was peaceful considering the mission her team was given was simple, dog walking. However Naruto decided for whatever reason to pick on of the largest dogs.

"What is he thinking" she mumbled under her breath. The animal easily dragged Naruto being much larger than the boy.

"Oh no" Chiyo said as she watched the blond be dragged towards a feild.......a mine field. The sound of one of the mines was heard as she looked to see if Naruto was alright. He stumbled back to the team covered in ash while the dog wagged it's tail coming out of the mine field completely unharmed.
------------------------------------------------------------
Team seven trudged back to the village,

"It seems like you're team work is lacking" Kakashi said.

"That's an understatement" Chiyo mumbled.

"It's all because of him!" Naruto yelled pointing towards Sasuke.

"He thinks he's better than everyone" he said.

"You're not helping Naruto-kun" Chiyo said in a stern tone.

"Well, I'm going to report to the hokage" Kakashi said, the team watched him walk off thinking about what they felt like doing on their own.

"Sasuke-kun, would you like to train with me?" Sakura asked her face turning a light shade of pink. The black haired boy only spared her a quick one word answer as he walked away from team seven. Sakura pouted crossing her arms over her chest,

"I'll train with you Sakura-chan" Naruto smiled enthusiastically, the female only sent him a harsh glare.

"Kakashi was right.........." Chiyo mumbled under her breath.

"Hey Naruto, why don't we get some ramen" she offered. The boy perked up smiling at her,

"would you like to come with us Sak-" she began to ask until something bumped into her leg. Chiyo looked down to see an oddly square looking rock? She cocked her head to the side. Suddenly the "rock" exploded into a cloud of colorful smoke. When it finally cleared three children younger than Chiyo were standing there coughing.

"Hello" Chiyo waved still a bit confused.

"What are you three doing here" she asked. The boy standing in front looked up towards Naruto showing off a pair of goggles he was wearing, they closely resembled the one's Naruto used to wear all the time.

"We're here to see the boss" he said pointing towards the blond. Chiyo looked towards Naruto an eyebrow raised at him.

"You know them" she asked, before she could receive an answer from him the children chimed in. Each one introduced themselves the one in front saying his name was Konahamaru.

"He's the hokage's grandson" Chiyo thought to herself.

"So, what are you doing here" Naruto asked them.

"We wanna play ninja" Konohamaru said,

"sorry, I don't have time" he told them. The boy pouted crossing his arms, the conversation soon shifted over to Sakura.

"Hey boss is that your girlfriend" Konohamaru asked. Sakura's face turned a bright shade of red.

"I am NOT his girlfriend" she yelled pointing angrily towards the blond.

"Right, you're too ugly. She's much prettier" the little boy said pointing towards Chiyo. The black haired female felt her face heat up.

"He hasn't even seen your face, no one has" Midnight said. Chiyo gave no response as she tried to recover from her flustered state.

"You brat!" Sakura yelled as she began to chase after the boy.

"Sakura-chan! I'm sure he didn't mean it" Chiyo tried to calm the pink haired girl down. Her words were ignored as she chased Konohamaru down the dirt path. Chiyo ran after them trying to stop anything from escalating.
