Chiyo rushed through the hospital until she reached one of the doors. With heavy breathing she pushed it open, inside lay an unconscious Naruto. Her expression softened at the sight as her breathing became even. The black haired girl walked over to the bed sitting beside it, she frowned looking at the night stand next to it. There was a headband on top. She picked it up looking at the symbol that was engraved into the metal. There was a slash through the middle of it.

"This must be Sasuke's" she said quietly. She then noticed Naruto starting to stir, his crystal blue eyes slowly fluttered open as he looked around the room. A frown spread across his face as he noticed Chiyo sitting next to the bed.

"Hey" she smiled hoping to make him feel better.

"I couldn't do it" he muttered quietly, Chiyo looked at the headband in her hands.

"I couldn't bring Sasuke back" he stated  looking down at his lap dejectedly.

"Don't blame yourself Naruto-kun" she said giving him a comforting look.

"You did your best" she reassured him,

he looked at her for a moment before his eyes flickered towards the window.

"Are you feeling ok" Chiyo asked, Naruto nodded. While hus physical injuries weren't bad she could tell that Naruto was emotionally hurt. He slowly sat up wincing in pain as he did. Chiyo reached out supporting his back so he wouldn't hurt himself.

"I'm sorry" he apologized, Chiyo put a hand on his shoulder hoping to make him feel at least a bit better.

"You have nothing to be sorry for" she told him, finally a small smile formed on his face.

"I'm just glad you're alright, I got really worried when I was told you were brought back hurt. What happened?" she asked,

"Sasuke and I fought, there was something different about him" Naruto explained. Chiyo sighed,

"It was the mark wasn't it" she said,

"It would seem so" Midnight said appearing next to Chiyo in a sitting position.

"He wouldn't listen to anything I said" Naruto said.

"Naruto-kun....." she said, there was a long pause between the two.

"Some people can't be convinced once they have their mind set on something" she told him. He nodded not saying anything in response. Chiyo pulled the boy towards her wrapping her arms around him. He relaxed into the hug,

  "Don't worry Naruto" she said.

"I'm sure you'll bring Sasuke back someday" Chiyo said.
