"Is Naruto Uzamaki here" the long haired male repeated the question in a much more stern tone of voice. Chiyo gripped the door tightly her hand beging to shake as she stared up at the two.

"He's not here" she said trying not to stutter, however she was caught in a lie  as a giant sword wad pointed towards her. Her eyes went wide with fear as she made no moves.

"Kisame, let me handle this" the black haired male said. He walked towards her his eyes narrowed at her. Chiyo pulled out her sword holding it in front of her. Despite how scared she was she had to fight. Whatever these people wanted with Naruto she wouldn't let them near her. The man didn't flinch at the sight of her weapon, he gripped her arm tightly making Chiyo wince. She was suddenly thrown against the wall as she fell to the floor groaning in pain. The male towered oved her a cold look in his eyes.

"Chiyo-chan!" she heard Naruto's voice call out. She wanted to yell at him to stay inside the room but it was too late. The blond ran into the hallway spotting Chiyo leaning against the wall. The black haired figure picked the girl up by the throat. She clawed at his hand  trying to make him let go of her. He glared at her his eyes almost staring into her soul. Chiyo began to kick her legs towards him as she struggled to breath.

"Let her go" Naruto yelled angrily running towards him. The one with blue skin blocked his path, finally Chiyo landed a blow to the man's stomach knocking the wind out of him, he let her go dropping her back to the floor. She took deep breaths as she pulled herself to her feet. Chiyo swung her sword towards him scratching his arm. He glared at her standing up.

"You're annoying" he said flatly elbowing her in the stomach. Chiyo groaned as she held a hand to her body. Suddenly, she was lifted into the air again. She continued to struggle not wanting to let Naruto be left alone. The black haired girl looked over to her blond friend silently pleading for him to just go. The feeling of a hand reaching for her mask startled her. Despite her efforts her mask was lifted from her face being carelessly thrown to the floor. Just a moment passed as she looked into the eyes of the male. Suddenly she felt light headed as her vision became blurry. The faint sound of Naruto yelling her name was the last thing she heard before she blacked out.

"Chiyo" a distant voice called, the girl looked around confused. She seemed to be standing on nothing and surrounded by total darkness.

"Mom!" Chiyo called out in a panic, she looked around desperately trying to find the woman.

"Chiyo" a different voice called, this time it was her father.

"Dad!" she yelled, suddenly, the darkness was cut through by a bright light. Upon closer inspection it seemed to be a fire, then the distant sound of screams reached her ears. Chiyo began to run forward. She found herself standing in the middle of a village, everything was on fire as smoke billowed into the air. She found herself frozen as both adults and children cried out in pain. Tears welled up in the girl's red eyes as she tried to will herself to move.

"Chiyo" her mother's voice called this time much closer. A woman's figure appeared in front of her the details of her face obscured by the shadows.

"Why did you let us die" her father's voice asked. This time it was her father's figure that appeared. Chiyo began to cry as the figures looked down at her, she cowered under their gaze feeling like she was two inches tall compared to them.

"This is your fault" her father sneered as Chiyo looked around. The screamed rang through the air as the flames ate away at the wooden buildings.

"You're pathetic" her mother said stepping forward. Chiyo put her arms out in front of her hating the look in the figures' eyes.

   "I'm sorry" she begged,

"we died because of you!" the woman raised her voice. Chiyo flinched her body shaking with fear.

"I'm sorry" she began to cry trying to make herself as small as possible.
