Chaprer 14

     Chiyo gritted her teeth hissing in pain as small needles pierced the skin of ger arm. Blood began to drip onto the ground staining it red. Sasuke wasn't in a better position as both of them removed the needles from their bodies.

"I have an idea" Sasuke said bringing his hands up to his mouth. Fire shot out of it as Chiyo watched hoping it would be enough to give the pair an opening to escape.

"What?!" she questioned seeing that the fire had no effect on the mirrors.

  "Midnight what do we do" Chiyo asked her body beging to shake.

"Jump on my back" the wolf instructed, the black haired female nodded doing as she was told. Midnight flew into the air getting Chiyo closer to the enemy. She unsheathed her sword swinging it in the male's direction. Somehow, he dodged it elbowing the female in the midsection. Chiyo let out a cry as she was knocked off of Midnight's back. She came crashing towards the ground below but before she could make contact with it Sasuke caught her in his arms. He was knocked off of his feet acting as a cushion for Chiyo.

"Are yoy ok" the female questioned panic in her voice. Sasuke nodded as she helped him up, Chiyo flinched bringing a hand up towards ger midsection. There was a large, visible bruise where she had been struck. Midnight made ger way over to her,

  "Are you alright" she said inspecting the bruise. Chiyo nodded,

"It's just a bruise" she tried to act as if she wasn't in any pain. Then, a new voice reached her ears.

"It's Naruto" she said a weary smile on her face.

"Naruto-kun, try attacking him from where you are" she yelled. She was suddenly interrupted by another wave of needles coming towards both her and Sasuke. She grabbed her sword from the ground using it to block as many of them as she could. However, one of them hit her in the shoulder causing her to stumble back.

"Shit" she cursed under her breath blood starting to seep from the wound. She pulled the needle from her body wincing as she did, Chiyo dropped it to the ground giving the masked boy a harsh glare.

"I'm here to save you" Naruto suddenly appeared within the mirrors. Chiyo frowned throwing her only plan out of the window. Yet another wave of needles flew through the air, Midnight quickly took action jumping in front of her companion, a bright blue barrier appeared around the three of them and knocking the needles back before they could cause any harm.

   "How can we tell which one is the real one" Chiyo asked. She looked over at Sasuke a shocked expression forming on her face. Sasuke's eyes had gone from a deep grey to a deep shade of red.

"The sharingan" she whispered under her breath.

"I can see where he is" he announced, Naruto took action creating a large group of shadow clones and jumping into the air to attack the boy. He easily knocked the blond back all of his clones  disappearing in small clouds of smoke. Chiyo stopped him from hitting the ground.

  "If Sasuke's fire can't even melt it then what can" Chiyo asked,

"if we can find out which one is the real one then we may have a chance" Midnight explained. The black haired female looked over at Sasuke his Sharingan still active.

"Can you tell which one is him" she asked hopefully" the boy nodded his eyes still locked onto the masked ninja.

"Yes, but he moves fast" he said.

"If you can keep track of where he goes we might have a chance" Chiyo said. Naruto stood up a frustrated look on his face. He created another large group of clones all of them targeting different mirrors.

"Wait!" Chiyo called worried that the blond would use too much chakara if he kept using the same justu. Just like before his attack was unsuccessful and he was knocked back down towards the ground once more. Midnight caught him on her back,

"be careful, you could pass out if you use too much chakara" Chiyo warned.

"I'm fi-" he began to say when the black haired female cried out in pain as several needles pierced her skin.

"Damn it" she cursed pulling the weapons out, her outfit was stained with blood from the wounds that littered her body as she turned to face the masked boys.

"Naruto, can you make clones one more time" she asked. The blond nodded,

  "Sasuke I need you to keep track of which one is the real one" she instructed. Sasuke nodded glancing at the female for a moment.

"What's the plan?" Naruto asked.

"I can't explain right now, I'm not even sure if this is gonna work" she admitted. Both Sasuke and Naruto looked at her unsure of what to say,

  "Are you sure this is a good idea" Midnight asked.

"We don't have another choice, we'll die if we don't do something" Chiyo saida hint of fear in her usually calm voice.
