Imagine for Alex. Sorry this is way late hun!! Look at our adorable boyfriends to the side. They're so adorable! :p
Alex's P.O.V
I sat at home, staring at the Christmas tree that I decorated all my myself this year. I strung all the lights up and wrapped all the presents, neatly placing them under the tree. I baked dozens of cookies, which were currently resting in containers up on my counter. I was satisfied with my work, yet a smile never found its way to my face.
I hated playing the Blame Game, but I blame my boyfriend, Liam, for my depression lately. The worst part was was that he wasn't even on tour! Nope, he was just ignoring me, basically. Right now he was sleeping. I tried to cut him some slack. I knew that work was being difficult for him. But I couldn't help but still want to spend time with him.
I made my way to the kitchen, wanting to bake more. Baking and Singing were both my safe havens. Singing just relieved me of all my stress. The gentle strum of the guitar calmed my nerves. When I bake, the wonderful smell of cookies or cake or whatever eafted up to my nose and clouded my mind, distracting me from whatever was bothering me.
As I took the brownies out of the oven and the frosting out of the cupboard, Liam entered the kitchen. "Morning," he greeted, yawning.
"Liam, it's two," I said, but he either didn't hear me or was just ignoring me again. He grabbed a box of cookies and made his way over to the televison.
"Li, I have to go to work my shift at Starbucks in an hour," I told him. His eyes stayed glued to the TV. I sighed and went to go shower, changing into my work uniform. I came downstairs at two forty-five. "Liam, I gotta go! Liam! Liam?" I called out to our seemingly empty flat. I entered the kitchen to find a note on the counter.
Alex, I went to the bar with the boys for a couple of hours. You need to stay home and wait for a shipment from Management. They said it's come around three-thrity.
-Liam
I stared at the paper with wide eyes. Did he not listen to me at all?! I told him that I had to be at work at three! If I didn't go to work, I would get fired. Damn it, Liam! I decided to leave him a note of my own at the bottom of his.
Liam, thanks for your note. It's the biggest interaction you've had with me in months. Also, thanks for leaving me on Christmas Eve. You definately win Boyfriend of the Year Award. So, anyway, I'm gonna quit my job. About to lose it anyway because I have to wait for this shipment, no thanks to you. After it comes, though, I'm leaving for awhile to go somewhere else. I'm not gonna tell you though. Don't want you to follow me. Obviously you don't want me here if you keep ignoring me so much. So, Merry Christmas. I hope I gave you what I wanted.

I left the note on the table, along with the necklace he got me for my birthday a year ago. I went to go pack a duffel bag and drabbed my phone and guitar. When three-thirty hit, I took the shipment and placed it in the living room before climbing in my car and drove down the street to Zayn's house, who was my best friend in the band. I parked a street away from his house though so that Liam or any of the other boys won't see my car.
I knocked on the door, praying Zayn didn't go to the bar with the boys. Sure enough, Zayn answered the door, clad in only a pair of sweats. "Alex?" he asked, eyeing my bag and then my tearstained face.
"Can I stay here for a night or two?" I managed to get out. Zayn nodded and pulled me into his arms. He took my bag and guitar and set me up in the guest bedroom.
"I brought you some cookies," I told Zayn, handing him a small box of cookies. He smiled and chuckled lightly.
"I love your cookies," he said, pulling out a sprinkled vanilla chocolate chip one shaped like a candy cane.
"Are you okay?" he asked lightly. I hesitated before nodding my head.
"I just needed some time," I told him. He nodded and began to leave the room. "Zayn?" I called and he turned around to the sound of my voice. "Can you not tell Liam I'm here if he calls?" I requested. He gave me a small smile and nodded before backing out of the room.
I took out my guitar and strummed it lightly before playing the A Team by Ed Sheeren. I didn't sing along. I just played the song, letting the tune soothe me. When I finished, I set the guitar up against the wall and went downstairs to cook Zayn dinner as a thank you for letting me stay.
Zayn was playing Pokemon when I came downstairs. Being the wonderful person I am, I decided to sneak up behind him and scream in his ear. He jumped and threw his Nintendo onto the loveseat. "Alex!" he screamed out, turning to glare at me. I giggled and then waltzed into the kitchen.
I decided to make homemade pizza for dinner with my special sauce. After thirty minutes I called Zayn in and he walked into the kithen looking like a lost puppy. "Homemade pizza?" he gaped. I giggled and nodded, and Zayn lunged for the pizza.
Dinner passed with few words exchanged between the two of us. After dinner, Zayn made a beeline for the box of cookies I brought him while I fetched my guitar and went onto the balcony. I sat on one of the chairs and looked at Perrie's beautiful garden that she spent so much time growing when she wasn't busy on tour with Little Mix.
Before I knew it, I was playing one of my favorite songs. It was a duet, but I planned on singing it as a solo. "We're liek fire and rain. You can drive me insane. But I can't stay mad at you for anything. We're like Venus and Mars."
"We're like Venus and Mars," a voice echoed.
'We're like different stars," I sang.
"we're like different stars," the voice echoed again.
Together, we both finished, " But you're the harmony to every song I sing. And I wouldn't change a thing." I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I felt a hand being placed on my shoulder and I slowly turned to face Liam.
His eyes were red and puffy, and his cheeks were tearstained as well. "Liam, I'm sorry for leaving," I said, standing up and hugging him.
I pulled away to see that his eyes were nearly bulging out of their sockets. "You're sorry!? Alex, I left you alone on Christmas Eve! I've been ignoring you for months and I haven't paid any attention to you! I made you lose your job!"
"Liam, it's alright. I forgive you. My boss was an ass anyway. I was gonna quit after Christmas. And I understand. You're under a lot of stress from work. I get it. Just try talking to me about it next time instead of ignoring me," I suggested.
Liam leaned in and captured my lips with his. His arms wound around my lower back and pulled me closer to him. "I love you, Alex."
"I love you too, Liam. Merry Christmas."
