Harry Imagine for Alex :)
***Alex's P.O.V.***
"Love, I'm going to meet the lads real quick. Niall had a great tune for a song or something," Harry said, leaning against the doorway to our bedroom as he pulled on a shoe.
I mumbled an incoherent response, turning over onto my back before sitting up, giving Harry a small smile. "Okay. See you later. Are we still on for ice cream?"
"Of course!" he agreed, jogging over to the bed to give me a small kiss on my forehead. "I love waking you up every morning like this."
"Harry, it's been almost a year. You'd think you'd get used to it by now," I responded as he and I both subconsciously glanced down at the ring on my finger.
"I will never get used to it." He gave me another swift kiss before running out the door, leaving me to stumble out of bed and get on with my day.
I managed to shower and cook breakfast within the hour and then took it upon myself to clean the flat Harry and I had lived in for almost two years now. I was rearranging the book shelf when something fell off the bottom shelf, landing softly on my foot. I gasped, recognizing it as the scrapbook my mother had given Harry and I as a wedding present before we moved to London.
Against my better judgement, I sat down and opened up the book, looking at pictures of Harry and I on dates and on our wedding day and of pictures of me with my family. My eyes lingered on a picture of my parents and me, and I felt tears well up in my eyes. I hadn't seen my parents since my wedding day almost a year ago, and it was hard with Harry's job and my parents' jobs and duties to raise my siblings to constantly fly from country to country to see each other.
I don't know how long I stared at the book, but before I knew it, Harry was walking through the front door and I was hurriedly wiping away any evidence of tears from my face. Harry stopped at the entrance to the living room, probably feeling the tension in the air. "Alex?" he called, his eyes most likely on my frame that was curled up on the couch.
"Yeah?" I answered, wiping my face vigorously before turning towards Harry and offering him a fake smile. His eyes drifted over to the book sitting next to me, and then he was looking back at me, scrutinizing every part of my face for tears or breaks. He knew how close I was to my family and he has seen firsthand how much separation from the people I love affects me. "You ready for ice cream?" I asked, trying to change the subject.

"Alex," I heard someone whisper, and then I was being shaken. I groaned, rolling over to see a fully-dressed Harry smiling softly down at me.
"Going to the studio?" I yawned, not bothering to look at the time.
"No, we're going somewhere. Come on. Get up!" After constant badgering, Harry finally managed to get me out of bed and into the bathroom to change. I glanced at my phone, noticing that Harry had woken me up at 4 in the morning for whatever he was planning. I was about to lock my screen again when I noticed the date, and my eyes widened drastically.
