Harry Imagine for Julie
***Julie's P.O.V***
"Bye, Ciara! Bye, Lia!" I called out to the car driving away. Ciara, Lia, and I had all gone on a well-needed girls day. We had gone to the mall, and then Ciara wanted to get her hair styled for her date with Niall tomorrow night, so we went to the barber too. We went to lunch straight after, Lia deciding to annoy the waiter half to death too by speaking with a heavy and very hard to understand French accent.
The car honked at me as it drove away. I chuckled and reached into my purse for the keys to the house. Upon unlocking the door, I heard screams and shouts coming from the living room. I half ran, half-walked to the room, and stopped dead in my tracks when I realized it was Darcy and Harry screaming at each other. Well, Darcy was screaming. Our other daughter, Summer, was sitting curled up on the couch, looking at Harry with teary eyes.
"Mummy!" Summer shouted, spotting me and running over to hug my legs. I swooped her up and held her as she dug her face into my neck.
"What's going on?" I whispered to here.
"I don't know. Darcy and Daddy were yelling when I came downstairs. I wanted Daddy to play dolls with me," Summer whimpered.
Darcy and Harry stopped fighting, but Darcy still wore an icy glare on her face. "What's wrong?" I voiced, averting my gaze from Darcy's furious facade to Harry's crumbling one.
"I need air," Harry murmured before sliding past me and walking out the door. I turned to Darcy, eyebrows raised.
"Harry did something wrong," she spat.
"Darcy! You know it's rude to use your dad's name!" I scolded gently. Sometimes she called Harry by his name when they were goofing off, but she had never done it when she was mad at Harry, which led me to believe that she was furious.
"I don't care! That man's no father to me!"
"Darcy! What has gotten into you?" I said, gently placing Summer down on her feet before bending so I was face to face with Darcy.
"Dad cheated," Darcy mumbled, but still with an icy tone. My breath hitched, but I shook my head anyway.
"No, sweetheart. Daddy would never cheat."
"Yes he did! I went into your room to ask him a question, and he was sitting on the bed snogging some stranger with red hair!"
I bit my lip, and looked at Darcy, analyzing her. Her glare alone was enough to show me she was telling the truth; the fury and hate in them was blinding. But the thing that set me over the edge was the hurt in her eyes. It was the hurt look in her eye that had been caused by seeing something a father and husband should never do to his family. I was positive that she was telling the truth now.
Tears pooled in my eyes, and Darcy hugged me in comfort. I squeezed her back before making up my mind. "Darcy, lock the front door. Summer, go to your room and pick out all your favorite clothes. Darcy, you do the same." Both girls rushed off to do as they were told as Iran to my and Harry's shared bedroom. I grabbed three suitcases and threw them on the bed, unzipping them all.
I carried one to Darcy's room and one to Summer's, telling them to pack only their favorite clothes, undergarments, a bathing suit, and essentials, like their laptop, chargers, phones, and toys. I returned to my room, throwing clothes into the suitcase. I grabbed my laptop, iPod, phone, and all the chargers and put them into one of the bag's pockets. Going into the family bathroom, I grabbed the three toothbrushes, toothpaste, the hair stuff, and other face cleansers and makeup.
Rough banging echoed from downstairs and I knew it was Harry, infuriated that he had been locked out of the house. I ignored the banging and packed the rest of my things, meeting Darcy and Summer out in the living room, who were both looking at the front door in fright.
