And here's the long awaited Liam preference. Last but certainly not least :D
"(Y/N)? Beautiful? I'm home!" Liam called, shutting the front door and locking it behind him. You didn't call out back to him. Instead you kept your head lodged into your textbook, trying to absorb all the information. Your big final was next week, and you were stressing big time.
"Love?" Liam called, coming into your shared bedroom. You was laying on your stomach, feet tangled in the pillows, hands running in frustration through your hair. "There you are! Why didn't you answer me?" Liam questioned, pecking your cheek.
You ignored him and closed your eyes, trying to recite a theory in your head. You fumbled for words in your head, coming up with little bits and pieces, but nothing useful. Tired and stressed to the maximum, you slammed your head down in the middle of your textbook, your hair fanning out around your head. Your eyes brimmed with tears, but you refused to crack.
"Woah," Liam said. He gently placed a hand on your back and rolled you over so that your head was laying next to your open textbook. "Love, a-are you crying?" he gently asked.
"Liam, I can't do this. I'm so stressed out! This exam is going to be impossible! My professor might as well fail me now!" you cried, burying your head in your hands. Your head felt like a million weights after countless hours of studying.
"Well, here. Let me help," Liam offered, grabbing my textbook and flipping the page. "Okay, what is an isotope?"
You racked your brain, searching for a possible answer, but nothing can to mind. Not even a picture that you may have come across. "I don't know, Liam! I don't know any of this!" you cried, tears finally falling down your cheeks.
"Hey, hey, don't cry," Liam comforted, throwing the textbook aside and pulling you into his arms. You nuzzled into his chest, wanting to close your eyes and sleep through the exam so you didn't have to take it. "Have you taken a break yet?" Liam asked after a while of complete silence.
You laughed once, a curt one that suggested Liam had just said something idiotic. "Take a break?! Liam, you saw me! I can't afford a break!"
"Love, maybe you'll study better if you take a break and let the information settle in your brain," he suggested, kissing your temple. "Come on. Fix yourself up. I'm taking you out to dinner at your favorite restaurant," Liam said, standing and walking over to the closet. He picked out his favorite blouse on you and a pair of ripped jeans and threw them to you, gesturing for you to change.
You changed reluctantly and combed through your knarly hair, trying to make it look presentable. Once you were finished, you put on some lip gloss, concealer, and eye liner, too lazy to put on any more.
"There's my beautiful girl," Liam said as you met him at the front door.
"Let's just hurry and get back so I can study more," you mumbled.
"Babe, please cheer up! I hate seeing you like this. I promise, we'll have a lovely dinner and then I'll help you study more. Okay?"
You sighed and nodded, trying to be a little more excited. You didn't want Liam to feel bad if you were uninterested in him and the date the entire night. You both arrived at your favorite restaurant, and a waiter led you to a table and got you drinks.
"The lads and I learned that our third album is going to have twenty songs on it," Liam said, breaking the silence. You raised your eyebrows in shock; their albums never really have that many songs on it. "It's like a thank you present to the fans," Liam explained. "We wanted to thank them for buying our music and coming to shows and tweeting us and stuff. And for just being the best fans on the planet," Liam said, his eyes brightening.
You found yourself smiling, and soon laughing out loud as Liam told a story of how Louis came running into the studio with a box of pizza. As soon as he had come through the door, Louis had slipped, and the pizza flew all over the floor. "Zayn and I ran right to Louis to make sure he was okay. Harry was pretty much just filming it and laughing. And Niall, well. Niall was shouting and cursing at Louis for dropping the pizza," Liam finished, watching you laugh at the story. Liam chuckled and stole a fry off of your plate, dipping it in his milkshake and popping it in his mouth.
"So what's new with my beautiful girlfriend?" Liam asked, stealing another fry. You knew he didn't mean school since he had taken you out tonight to get your mind off that.
"Well, (Y/BF/N) got her driver's license a week ago, so me and her are going on a shopping spree on Saturday," you said. Liam nodded and smiled, glad that you had something to do other than read your science textbook in the flat all day.
The two of you finished your food and drove back to the flat, singing loudly to the radio and telling stupid little jokes to each other. You entered the flat and sat on the couch, utterly exhausted from studying so hard and then the spontaneous date.
You felt Liam come up behind you, and then a pair of hands gently started rubbing the back of your neck and your shoulders. You sighed and moved your hair to make it easier for Liam.
"You were right," you admitted as he massaged your neck, relieving you of most of your stress.
"Hm?" Liam wondered.
"When you said I'd have a good time tonight? You were right."
"Well of course I was right, (Y/N). You were on a date with me after all," he added cheekily.
"You are something else," you giggled. You felt Liam breathe on the back of your neck a little, and then a warm pair of lips replaced his hands, placing gentle kisses all over your neck.
"Shall we study for an hour, get some hot chocolate, and then go to bed?" Liam mumbled on your neck.
You turned your head quickly and captured his lips with yours. "Sounds lovely."
