Louis Imagine for Jessie. I hope you like it! I tried to be as cute as possible lol
**Jessie's P.O.V**
“Louis! Stop! Your butt is hogging up the whole sofa!” I groaned, trying to shove Louis out of the way so that I could continue watching my television show.
“Hush, Jessie! This is the good part!” Louis shushed me, placing a finger over my mouth as I glared at him. Without thinking twice, I reached up and pinched Louis’s cheek with my fingers. He squealed and jolted away from me, leaving me to happily regain my comfortable seat.
“Meanie,” he pouted playfully, and I stuck my tongue out at him before turning back to face the TV, catching Louis walk into the kitchen out of the corner of my eye.
“Morning, Jessie,” Liam yawned, walking down the stairs. “How’s my baby sister?” he cooed, ruffling my hair. I scowled at him and fixed my ponytail, choosing to ignore him for being so preppy in the morning. He laughed and went into the kitchen, yelling out something about pancakes and bacon.
**Louis’s P.O.V**
I walked into the kitchen, physically trying to soothe my stinging cheek and mentally trying to calm down my thumping heart. I don’t know what it is about Jessie, but she makes me go crazy. It takes all I have not to grab her and kiss her whenever I see her.
I would have asked her out already if it wasn’t for one tiny flaw. She was my best mate’s sister. I couldn’t risk our friendship over a girl, even if this girl was beautiful and funny and kind and-. No, Louis, stop, I scolded myself, shaking my head and opening up the fridge to find something for breakfast.
I heard talking coming from the living room, and just the thought of the room reminded me of her. She was in there right now, sitting cross-legged on the couch in her pajamas and messy bedhead watching her favorite Saturday cartoons. God, Louis, you sound like a teenage girl. Grow a pair.
“Morning, Lou.” I was snapped out of my thoughts when Liam walked into the kitchen and greeted me.
“Hi,” I nearly whispered, closing the fridge without getting anything from it. Liam creased his eyebrow, opening the cupboard to get some pancake mix.
Pancakes are Jessie’s favorite breakfast on Saturday morning, the voice in my head reminded me of the useless fact. I took a deep breath, letting it out in a slow sigh.
“Okay, what’s up?” Liam asked, eyes on me now as he set the pancake mix on the counter and went to go get the bacon.
“Nothing’s up. Except the sky,” I said, forcing out a laugh. Could that have sounded any faker?
Liam sighed now, using his arms to hoist himself up onto the counter. “Louis, something’s up. Something’s always up when you try and make bad jokes to try and clear the air.”
I closed my eyes, running a hand down my face. I was tired of this. I was tired of hiding, and I was tired of wishing for something that was so easily attainable. “Liam, I like your sister,” I blurted out, immediately covering my mouth. Sometimes my brain works too fast for my liking.
Liam’s eyes widened, and he slid off the counter slowly. “You what?” he asked lowly, and I physically felt myself gulp. Why does Liam have to be into boxing? Why can’t he be into something like Extreme Pillow Fighting?!
No, Louis. Man up. “Liam, I’ve had a crush on Jessie for the last two years. I have ever since you brought her on that short tour that lasted, like, two months. I’ve had a crush on her as soon as she walked, or fell, onto the bus. I remember you coming on holding these two giant pink suitcases,” I recalled, going off into memory world, completely forgetting who I was taking to. “Everyone started cracking jokes about it, and then I heard this girl’s voice behind you telling you to move. I thought it was a girlfriend, and so did Niall ‘cause he whistled. You stepped up and then I saw her head bob up from the doorway, and then I saw her beautiful eyes, and then I saw nothing. She had tripped over the last stair, and I remember my heart skipping a beat because I wanted to make sure she was okay. I had no idea who she was, but I was already a goner. And then I found out she was your little sister, and Liam, I tried to hide it and make my feelings go away. I really did. But she’s so beautiful and kind and just, well, perfect.”
