Kensie's POV:
We've been down at the beach pretty much all day. I'm currently laying on my towel and Livvy's laying next to me on her towel. The boys are currently trying to teach Frankie to boogie board, which is actually pretty funny to watch.
"Are you happy that Anna's gone?" Livvy asks.
"Is it mean if I say yes?" I ask.
"It kind of is, but I understand why you're happy about it." She says.
"I don't know why I'm so happy about it though, I don't think me and Josh will get together again." I say.
"Are you kidding me? You two have been flirting so much recently." She says.
"No we haven't. We've just been goofing off." I say.
"No. What I've seen, it looks like you two are flirting." She says.
"Do you think he still feels the same about me?" I ask.
"Uhm yes. I don't think he ever got over you." She says.
"If he didn't why did he talk to other girls?" I ask.
"Because he was trying to cover up his feelings for you. He probably thought if he was talking to another girl then his feelings for you would to away, but of course they didn't." She says.
"I never thought about it like that." I say.
I look down the beach and see Josh laughing. He looks up towards us and he smiles at me. I smile back and his smile grows wider.
"Did you see that?" Livvy asks.
"See what?" I ask.
"How Josh's smile got bigger when he looked at you." She says.
"That's what he always does." I say.
"No, it's not." She says.
I see Josh start walking up the beach towards us and I get nervous. I don't know why I'm getting so nervous around Josh recently. He gets in front of us and kneels down in front of me.
"How's the boogie board lessons going?" I ask.
"Not so good." He says before laughing.
"Yeah we can tell." Livvy says.
"Frankie just doesn't understand how to do it." He says.
"Or he just doesn't have good teachers." I say.
"Kensie's over here spitting facts." Livvy says.
"I can't believe you said that." Josh says to me.
"Sorry Josh, but it's the truth." I say while smiling at him.
He looks around the beach before walking closer to me and picking me up off of my towel and throwing me over his shoulder.
"Joshua Bassett! I swear if you throw me into the ocean I'm not going to talk to you for a week!" I say.
"Kensie, we both know you can't go a minute without talking to me, unless you're mad." He says.
"Well, if you throw me into the water I'm going to be mad." I say.
When we get to the ocean he puts me down and looks at me.
"Why did you bring me down here?" I ask.
"You think I'm not a good teacher, so you can teach Frankie." He says.
"Are you serious?" I ask while smiling at him.
"Yes. Let's see what a good teacher you are." He says.
