Kensie's POV:
I walk inside the house and see Josh sitting on the couch in the living room. When I'm fully inside, he looks away from me and looks outside.
"Josh, can we talk?" I ask walking closer to him.
"So now you want to talk?" He asks.
"Yes. I want to act like adults and talk." I say.
"You didn't act like that last night." He says.
"That's because I was upset, what did you expect Josh?" I say.
"To have a civil conversation with you." He says.
"You expected me to have a civil conversation with you after you kissed another girl?" I say.
"Yes, we're not dating anymore." He says.
"I know we're not, but we were." I say.
"What does that matter?" He asks.
"I thought you felt bad about picking her?" I say.
"I do, it was a stupid mistake." He says.
"Then why are you acting like this?" I ask.
"Because you're making it seem like everything we've been through is my fault." He says.
"No I'm not!" I say.
"Yes you are." He says.
"Why are you acting like this?" I ask again.
"I can't tell you." He says.
"You can't tell me?" I ask.
"No I can't." He says.
"So now you're keeping secrets? You used to tell me everything Josh." I say.
"I know but I can't tell you this." He says.
"Well I hope you and Ava are happy together." I say while turning away and walking towards the back doors.
"Kensie wait." He says while getting up and grabbing my hand.
I turn to him and wait for him to talk. It's so hard for me to make eye contact with him, my heart starts beating fast and I get butterflies in my stomach.
"I'm sorry. You know I hate fighting with you, and I don't know what's wrong with us. We used to never fight when we were younger, it's like since we're older we have more problems." He says.
"I know. I hate fighting with you too." I say.
"We have to get along for the sake of our friends." He says.
"I agree." I say.
"So we're good?" He asks.
"For now." I say.
"Good." He says while hugging me.
"So, Matt told me you're manager isn't making you fake date people anymore." He says.
"Yeah, and I'm happy about it. Maybe now I can find someone to be in an actual relationship with." I say.
"Yeah, maybe." He says.
"So how's things with you and Ava? Even though I don't like her." I say.
"I don't like her either. She's fake and her voice gives me a headache." He says.
"Then why don't you ask your manager to give you someone else to date?" I say.
"He won't." He says while rolling his eyes.
