Joshua's POV:
I get why Kensie's upset, I do but I wish I could just tell her the truth. Yes, I did make out with Ava in the closet, it was a stupid mistake and I shouldn't have picked her. My manager is the one that caused all of this, I can't stand him. I think I'm going to try and get a new manager, but it will take a while for that to happen. I found out a few weeks ago the reason why he didn't want me dating Kensie was because he likes her, which is gross because he's 27 and Kensie's only 20. I want to be able to tell Kensie the truth, but I highly doubt she'll even believe me now, plus I had to sign a contract that I wouldn't talk about this to anyone.
"Hey Josh, I had an amazing time tonight!" Ava says walking into my bedroom. Frankie, Sofia, and Kensie's bedroom is right next door to mine so I hope they don't hear Ava's obnoxious voice.
"Good for you." I mumble.
"What's wrong, babe?" She asks while walking over to my bed.
"Don't call me babe. And it was a mistake that I kissed you, I shouldn't have picked you." I say while getting up from my bed.
"You don't mean that, I know you loved it." She says getting up as well.
"Josh, can we talk?" Matt asks from the hallway. He looks in my room and sees Ava standing there.
"Or you're busy right now." He says starting to walk away.
"Matt! Wait! I'm not busy!" I yell while running out into the hallway.
Matt turns around and looks at me, I can tell he's annoyed with me. He tells me to follow him so I do, he leads us onto a balcony overlooking the ocean. We both take a seat and sit in silence for a few minutes.
"Why would you do that to Kensie?" Matt asks me.
"I don't know what I was thinking. I should've picked her. I can't stand Ava, she's fake and bratty." I say.
"Well, you really hurt Kensie tonight." He says.
"I know." I say.
"And I hope you know that Kensie's manager called her a while ago and told her that her deal was off, she's doesn't have to fake date anyone anymore, which I'm glad she doesn't because I hated that for her. And I hate it for you, I think you really need to talk to your manager and tell him you don't want to fake date anymore." He says.
"I can't do that." I say.
"Why not? I know you still love Kens, so why won't you fight for her?" He says.
"I can't." I say.
"Why?" He asks.
"I can't say." I say.
"Why can't you tell me?" He asks.
"Because I signed a contract that said I can't say anything." I say.
"Josh, you could seriously be in trouble. Just tell me, I won't tell anyone." He says.
I know I can trust Matt, but what if someone's listening? I really need to talk to someone about this, not even my family knows about this contract or deal.
"You seriously can't tell anyone." I say.
"I promise." He says.
"Basically I can't be with Kensie because my manager likes her and he doesn't want me dating her. Even though our deal was that if the fans like us together then we can be public with our relationship." I say.
"Isn't your manager like 30?" He asks.
"He's 27, but it's basically the same thing." I say.
"You have to tell someone about this contract, like Tim. He can help you. Or tell Kate, I know she'll help." He says.
