(Y/N)'s Point Of View

I needed a break. A break from training. A break from accidentally giving Spicy all my chakra while also taking all his. I know Momo very much needed a break after so many times taking care of us since Alice is busy. Which is why we decided to take a calm walk through the village. While we took our walk, I couldn't help but notice how positive people are today. However, I do find it odd that it's all in groups of two.

"(y/n)!" I hear Sakura's voice.

I look to see her with Ino. As I walk closer, I see they're standing next to a booth with two boxes. Then I noticed an old woman smiling and a large wolf next to her. Spicy runs in front of the wolf to hiss at it, but it ignores him.

"Hello, Sakura and Ino. What are you both doing?" I ask them.

"It's the day of love!" Ino shouts in excitement. "Today's a special day since we have the most famous match maker, Madam Ai!"

"Ino's family's flower shop is helping out Madam Ai's business along with some other places for today. So, I thought I could help her as well," Sakura said.

"A match maker?" I said, confused and staring down at the old woman. She smiled brightly at me while standing up from her chair and bowing to me. I did in return.

"Hello, young lady. I am Madam Ai. " She introduced herself. "However, I still wouldn't call myself a match maker. It sounds too forceful to pick a single person and give them the information they need."

"Then what do you do? Or at least call yourself?" I ask her.

"Well, I do help people find their soulmate, but I do not do it by force. I kindly ask them if they have someone who they may have feelings for and ask them to come to my booth. I assign them tasks they must do. Then, after they had finished, they'll see if they're met to be. If not, then I'll give them advice or readings."

"Readings? Like tell the future?" I ask her again in disbelief.

"How about I show you with those two couples walking over here?" She turns her head to the couple she mentions. They both do seem like a couple, but they're not acting like one. They approach the booth, "Hello again."

The woman smiles at Madam Ai and straight away put a card in the box on her right. The box reads 'Not a match'. She remains to wear a smile to the old woman, "The tasks were fun, Madam Ai, but we've been friends since we started working together in the hospital. We're better that way, right?" She said, turning her head to the man.

"Yes, we're just friends-"

"Oh! Ena and her daughter are over there! Ena!" The lady runs to where her other friend is.

However, the man stays where he is. He pulls out his card and puts it in the other box that reads 'In love'. The man smile he wore fades to sadness. "Thank you for the help. I figured it wasn't going to work since we've been friends for almost two years, and I never once made a move. Not even in the tasks you gave us. I guess it's for the best."
