Chapter 35 - Confession

Kiba's Point of View

"Okay, I'm ready," I said to myself. "I need to tell her now or it will be too late."

I hear Akamaru whine softly. I told him that he couldn't come with me. Plus, he's worried. Yet he is understanding that I need to do this alone. I pat his head with a smile then look at myself in the mirror.

"I look good. Smell good. I know what I need to say to her," I said to myself and let out a nervous breath. "Wish me luck, Akamaru."

(Y/N)'s Point of View

"What do I do than?" I ask Touka in our home.

I had told her the warning Naku left me before I woke up from my death. Warning me to not use my Shizengan. Touka had met some of the families for me since Shun's death while I was too busy for three years straight. You should already know what I was doing during that time. Plus, I'm still not used to the whole Master of the Shizengan name by the way. Anyways, I told her the warning and have been concern about it. Knowing I'll need to use it for War and concern for the safety of the clan.

"For one, see the ones who will joining the war," Touka said while looking at the unopened letters. "Have you even bother to read any of them? It's a trash bag full of them."

"All are just concerning my safety when news got out about the Leaf Village destroyed," I answer her while rubbing my temples. "I already checked. Some are participating while the others are staying to protect their lands."

"But are you really participating?" Touka asks me. "If Naku's warning for you to not use your Shizengan is that serious. Do you think you and other (l/n) members can win without it?"

"I have Lady Mei's teachings..." I mumble.

"But the others doesn't," Touka said. "Not to mention, you don't have anymore extra lives left. Meaning you need to be extra careful."

"Meow," Spicy meows as he and Sweets walks up to me. He rubs his head on my leg.

"I'll have Spicy to protect me..." I said while petting him. "I will survive. Not because I said so. But because I'm doing this for mine and other villages. More importantly, I'm doing this to protect Naruto."

My words are true but it still makes me trembles. 'Will I survive...?'

Touka sighs, "Either way, while you're out there. I'll be here protecting Alice and the twins. Oh, and you too, Sweets," She said while getting up. "I'm going to take a bath now. When I'm done, do some training. The ones where you won't be using your Shizengan. Do you know which group you'll be assigned to?"

"Not yet," I answer her.

Touka walks away while leaving me alone with Spicy and Sweets. My mind goes to wonder what group I'll be in. As well as if Naurto is okay right now. He's learning to control the Nine-Tails' power. While he's at it, everyone is getting ready for war. Although I feel ready, I'm worried and concern. Asking myself if should be in war. I don't know exactly what I'll be fighting anyway.

I hear a knock on my door. Spicy transforms in his big form while walking to the door. He opens it with his mouth. Revealing Kiba.

"Sup, fur ball's cat. She's home, right?" Kiba asks then sees me. I walk over to them. Spicy returns to his small form and walks back to his spot.

'What is he holding behind his back?' I notice his arms are behind his back.

"Hey, what are you doing here-"

"Here," Kiba cuts me off and reveals beautiful flowers with some dandelions in them. "That hang out we had planned. Let's do that now."

"Now? But I'll be starting my training in a few minutes-"
