"Hi... I'm Sasuke. We ran into each other with our, remember?"
"Wow... Your grandfather is... really bad at making your lunch... How did he burnt those tomatoes slices?"
"If you want, once I get strong enough, I'll protect you from your father. I promise you!"
"H-Hey (y/n)! We should train together! After all, we're still friends, right?"
"Friends? That's dumb. Why be friends with you?"
"(y/n), what happen to you? You're cover in blood and look beaten up."
"It's annoying. Especially since you called my name before."
"Don't you dare die. You come straight back to me after you beat her."
"Come with me than. We can beat him down together. Before he gets close to Naruto. Help me, (y/n)."
"(y/n)!"
"(y/n)... I don't have a present, but I promise I won't ever hurt you nor make you cry... and..."
"Goodbye, (y/n)..."
All of Sasuke's words to (y/n) are haunting her. Flashbacks of all their moments she had with him. All the meetings they had and fallen outs. All the team missions and laughter her team members had. Then it hits to their very last fight. Then everything fades into Naruto and Sakura with sad faces on while Sasuke is behind them. She sees him holding two kunais. One in each hand. Then he threw them at the backs of Naruto and Sakura.
Hospital - (Y/N)'s Point of View
"AHHHHH!!!!" I shout out as I have awake from my nightmare. I breathe heavily in panic then I look around to notice I'm not in my room. I'm in the hospital.
"(y/n), are you okay?!" Sakura said grabbing my hand.
I look at her. Now noticing she's here with me. I try my best to calm my breathing. My eyes travels around to see a nurse.
"Ms. (l/n), please lay down and relax. You'll be release tomorrow," The nurse said while writing something on her clipboard. Then she finally leaves the room.
I lay back down on my hospital bed to calm myself down. Then remember why I'm in the hospital, but not know exactly how. "Sakura... How did I get here...?"
"Well, I don't know really, but..." Sakura tries to explains while her face is looking sad. "All I know was I heard you're in the hospital because Sasuke hurt you... Badly..."
The air between us went silent. I memory of Sasuke slicing my left shoulder and left me to die. However, it's strange because it didn't felt like I die. Not to mention, my shoulder doesn't hurt. My right hand reach to my left shoulder and I look at it as well. No bandages. No blood. Not even a deep scar. I move my left shoulder around not feeling any pain.
'How is it possible...?' I ask myself.
"You're lucky your cat found me," Sakura and I hear a woman's voice in the door way. We turn to see the fourth Sannin, Lady Mei, with Spicy in her arms. "He made me follow him to were your body was. I summoned my healing lizards to heal that large deep wound of yours. Good thing we made it in time before you could die. However, a lot of blood was lost, so I brought you here."
