Chapter 9 - (y/n) vs Kagome

(Y/N)'s Point of View

After Sasuke left, I stare at Kagome. She looks completely different. I mean, she has the same clothes, the spools of wires, and hair style. However, it's the way she is right now that made her different from the last time I saw her. Her with an Anbu mask all calm, quiet, and ready to attack. Or maybe this is the real her.

"I understand now," I finally speak to her. "You were told to pretend to be a Genin to get information from inside the Leaf Village. Probably also told to watch over Gaara due to that weird jutsu he did. You weren't allow to continue to the Chunin Exams if the Hokage or other Jounins notice your skills."

She didn't speak. She just stands there like a doll. Motionless. Definitely different from how she acted before. I'm probably right due to her silence.

"There's one thing I don't understand. Why in the need to be around me-" She cuts me off by releasing her wires to come at me.

I dodge and try to dodge more the best I can as she sends more. Then her wires caught my right wrist. I got drag to to ground, but continue to keep standing. Sadly, there was no water in my surroundings nor do I have my water poach, so I can't use my Water Shizengan. I turn on my Fire Shizengan then blast fire from my free hands at her. She jumps, but didn't loosen the wires from my wrist like last time. She continues to not be hit by my flames while trying to pull me towards her, but I refuse to budge. Once again her wires caught my other wrist, but it's mostly wraps around my hand. Then she wraps that hand to my thighs. I scream in pain feeling the wires tighten hard and making me stop. She pulls them which made me fall to the ground.

Out of desperate need to break free, I heat up the wires on my right hand. I know it won't break since she told me in the our semi match at the Pre-Chunin Exams, but there may be a possibly I can heat them enough to burn her side to where she has to let go. It's a risk to burn my hand and wrist as well, but it was worth it when the wires heat up enough to get closer to her. Kagome let's go as it burnt her hand. I quickly take off the now loose wires on my right hand with my teeth and about to release my left hand from my thigh. Before I can, she drags me with full force for me to hit the tree on my side.

I watch Kagome jumps up while holding a kunai as she's about to throw it right at me. Using my fire to give me an extra boost up to my speed, I get up and jump at her then tackle her stomach with my fist while bitting hard on her arm which is holding the wires that are still wrapped around my hand and thigh. She let's go of them then kicks me away from her. I lead on the ground with my feet and she did the same a few feet from me. Once again, I stare at her and wait for her next move.

"Yes..." Kamoge finally speaks in a serious tone. "Our match was a fake. Our plans would be ruin if I continue. As well as you would've die and not come back."

"Then was getting to know me like a bug part of your plan as well?" I ask her, but she didn't respond. "You gonna answer or fight me? If your part of the Anbu Black Ops. in your village then show me your true skills!"

I shoot out fire balls with one hand at a time. I continue to shoot as much as I can while she continues to dodge them. Suddenly, I feel a stinging pain in my eyes enough for me to stop. I shut my eyes for a moment then quickly opening them, so I won't lose Kagome. I know it will stop if I stop using the Shizengan, but I refuse and ignore the pain.

'Please... Just a little longer...' I begged to myself. I can't let my eyes get in the way.

"Fine, since you and all the people in the Leaf Village will die anyway," she said in a darker tone.
