Chapter 32 - Our Revenge

Lady Mei's Point of View

"We're done here," I scream at (y/n) while she's getting her right arm back from being numb.

We've been training for the last seven hours now. She's still skilled at paralyzing her enemies. Sharing her chakra and bits of her Shizengan to Spicy. Her sensing her enemies' attack moves and areas has been approving. Healing and fighting blind has gotten better. Summoning more than just two different lizard needs more help. However, those are not what I'm looking for.

Her Shizengan has been bothering her. Coughing out twice the blood after using two Shizengan at once thanks to Itachi's teachings. Twice the pain in her eyes and Chakra going low even with only using one of them for a short second. And that short second of using it was caused by a sudden rage. Not to mention, she's physically look lightly pale and skinny.

"I can keep going- Ahhh..." (y/n) said while holding her head. Spicy returned his long steel claws and transforms back to small form to comfort her.

"You're at your limit with your Shizengan," I said looking at her heavily breathing. "Looking at Spicy. He knows you're all drained out."

"How did I do though?" She asks me.

"All but the Shizengan are fine. You really need to use it a lot less now if you want to share it with Spicy," I said to her.

"I'll need it anyway. Touka said Deidara is alive and he and Tobi were there during our mission with the three tails. I need to-"

"Kill him?" I cut her off. "So you're really ready to lose your Shizengan for good? Kill him, die from Shizengan, come back to life but blind, get Shun's eyes back to his grave, and spend last lives blind. Do you really want this revenge?

"Yes and yes to all of that," she answers. She looks up to look at me. "Those old scars on your face almost matches with this blood red sunset."

"That's random to say and it came from you of all people," I said and look at the sky and the sun. The sky is the color of blood. It doesn't pleases me.

"Might as well enjoy everything I see now and say it out loud before it's too late," (y/n) said and pulls herself up. Spicy transforms to his big form and she gets on him. "We'll be leaving now. See you same time tomorrow."

(Y/n) rides on Spicy and both went home. I took off my gloves to reveal the old burns caused by Orochimaru. I also take out my sword to look at my scarred face through the reflection. Then compare it with the blood sky.

"Huh, she's right. It almost matches." I said to myself. "I should go see Tsunade-"

I was cut off when one of my lizards appears before me. "Lady Mei, I have return with grim news," my lizard said to me.

"What is it?" I ask him.

He is one of my lizards I had sent to locate and watches over Orochimaru's behavior. After that, he informs me where and what he is doing. I didn't do it before because I wanted to hide away from everyone. After revealing myself and Team Kakashi's mission, I thought I can get a head start.

"My lady... Orochimaru has..." He said and I wait for him to speak. "Has been killed by Uchiha Sasuke."

I dropped my sword.

(Y/N)'s Point of View

It happened. It finally happened. But not how we all hoped it wouldn't. It's completely different. Naruto, Sakura, and I were summoned by the Fifth Hokage where her, Shizune, Master Jiraiya, and Lady Mei meet us. She confirmed to us that Orochimaru is dead and Sasuke was the one who killed him. Which means his vengeance is coming fast.
