Chapter 6 - Chunin Exams (part two)

(Y/N)'s Point of View

I'm the first to fight against this girl named Kaguya Kagome from the Hidden Sand Village for the spot to be in the Chunin Exams. I, along with my team, had already met them days ago. I don't like how happy and girly she acts. She sounds annoying like Sakura with her high pitch voice. Although she showed a nice nature and introduced herself all friendly, it doesn't ignore the fact that she's with a strong team. If her team members are strong than she's got to be strong as well.

I was honestly hoping for Sasuke to go first. There was something wrong with him and he nor Sakura are saying anything about it. Naruto doesn't seem to know either than again he wasn't aware of Sasuke being bitten by that psycho. If Sasuke goes first, Kakashi sensei would take a better look and see if it's not too bad or very serious. However, here i am, face to face with my opponent while everyone is watching us.

"The first match will start now," the coughing ref said. "(y/n) and Kagome, come forth."

I stare at my opponent in the eyes as I wait for this to start. She does the same for a little while and then smiles with a giggle. "Say (y/n), you kind of remind me of someone." She said.

"Oh?" I said to her, but honestly don't care.

"Yep!" she said while nodding. "Actually, you remind me of another person too."

I sigh and close my eyes. Basically, saying I'm tired of this already. "That's nice but-"

"My daddy and brother mostly," she cuts me off. "Do you happened to have a loving and caring daddy like I do? Does he happen to have the same jutsu with-."

I cut her off in return by shooting a pouch full of water from my poach which made her fall and roll on the ground. The fact that she asked me about having a loving and caring father just hit me deep. I don't know if she knows about my childhood somehow and starts comparing fathers, but I don't care. If she does and expected to push my buttons, I bet she's pleased. If she wants a real fight than I'll give it to her.

I moment I watch her get up and coughing out water, I pull the water up which made her fly up in the air. Right when I was about to form the water in a whip, I felt something on my right arm that stopped me then look to see it's thin wires. My opponent lands on her feet while holding on the other end of the string. I quickly pull out my kunai to cut the wires, but it's doesn't break.

"Sorry, (y/n)-chun," Kagome said with a serious face. "Nobody can break them. Once I use my wires to hold on to the enemy, my chakra strengthens them."

'So, this is her jutsu? No, don't be fooled, I bet she has more in her sleeve,' I thought to myself.

"C'mon (y/n)! You got this!" I hear Naruto shouts.

I can feel right arm hurting as she makes her wires tighten. Using left hand, I bend the water to a whip. She dodges the hits from my water whip and refuse to let me go. Then she shoots out more of her wires at me. I try to avoid them even while she pulls and forces me to not move. Soon enough, I use my water grab her ankle and pull her to fall on the ground. While she falls, I run to her and jump up to land a kick on her stomach. She coughs in ache and her head lays back. I watch her lay unconsciously and the wires became loose enough for me to be free. I got off her and turn off my Water Shizengan. I walk away from her for a few steps but stop before I get close to the stairs.

'That was too easy,' I thought to myself with 100% doubt.

I turn around to look at my opponent again. I gasp at the sight of all strings coming right at me. I jump up to dodge, but they follow me up. I throw my six shurikens at them, but it has no affect. I hit the wall and jump out as the wires hit the wall, but it still follows me. I jump from grounds to walls in hope it will stop, but they kept on coming. Knowing my water wouldn't work, I decide to use my Fire Shizengan. Before I can, the wires finally got me then realized Kagome's true plan. I look to my surrounds to see myself caught in a web of thin wires. I got my arms caught in them now and couldn't find an opening for me to escape. Everywhere, besides the audience, are covered like a giant web all around. Kagome finally gets up with no trouble. She holds on to all her wires with both hands.
