Chapter 41 - Gone Again

Kiba's Point of View

"Here," I hand (y/n) her ice cream.

"Thanks," she thanks me and takes it out of my hand.

"It's not bad of a date, huh?" I ask her a little nervous.

"It's obviously my first date, but it's not bad at all. I'm- I'm glad it's with you..." " She said while a hint of blush runs her cheeks which puts me at relief.

(y/n) told Sakura and Ino that she'll be monitoring a family for the night until she leaves on a mission with her team. I had a feeling that after she comes back, she'll leave again in seconds. So, Ino asked Tenten and Hinata to take (y/n)'s mission until the date is over. While Sakura let Alice know what's going on. Our whole date was originally just going to be basic and comfortable. Chill at my new place with take out. When I told the girls, they threw my idea into the trash and told me to take her to a restaurant. I ended up doing that, a nicer restaurant they picked out and taken most of my money.  After that, to keep it fun, I took her to my special spot that over looks the village. Talking, walking hand in hand, and getting on a much closer level. Just the two of us. The girls also suggested ice cream.

"I didn't know Ice cream Is a good way to finish off a date," (y/n) said while licking her ice cream.

"There's a lot of ways to finish off a date," I tell her while memorizing how she licks her ice cream.

'I'm glad mating season ended three weeks ago,' I thought to myself. We continue our walk while finishing up our ice cream. I take a deep breath and let out my nerves. 'Here goes nothing!'

"Hey," I said and take her hand. She looks up at me. I point at the direction we should go. "Let's go this way."

"Huh?" She looks at where I'm pointing with a confuse face. "It's just a dead end ally way-"

I cut her off by picking her up in my arms. "Ha! It's our first date and you forgot you're a ninja. An un-dead and strong one at that. Hold on, fur ball." I order her and she wraps her arms around my neck.

While carrying her, we jump up the walls and hop on roofs. Later on jumping on the top of the trees. Each step, I jump higher to look at the view below us. I watch the amazement in her eyes and the smile she wears. I could only smile at her smiling and enjoying the date. After we finally land outside her house, I gently put her down.

"That was... Really great, Kiba," (y/n) said while moving her hair behind her right ear. "Well, goodnight-"

"(y/n)," I said her name and take in both her hands. "I want to tell you something. It's something I've been wanting to tell you for a long time."

"What is it?" (y/n) said noticing her blushing again.

"(Y/n), I really-"

"You're finally here," a man interrupts me who came out of her home. Must be one of the members of that family (y/n) is monitoring. "I need to talk to you now."

"Ugh-"

"I said right now," the man walks closer to us and tries to take (y/n)'s arm.

"Hold on," I interrupt him and stop his hand while squeezing it hard. "We're in the middle of something."

"So am I," the man pulls away.

"Hey!" We all hear Sakura shout while her, Ino, Hinata, and Tenten came out to join. "Sorry, Kiba, but Nikko kept wanting to talk to (y/n) and we tried to keep him here-"

"You rudely punched me with your monster strength! Are you even human?!" The man named Nikko rudely cuts off Sakura. Then he looks at me, "Are you done with your less important date? You brought her home which means you're done. Now, I would like to discuss with (y/n) on important matters-"
