Chapter 21 - Promise

Author: Short Chapter. You will see why after reading this. Part of it is due being tired of writing after my last chapter.

Ino's Point of View

"Hey, Sakura!" I shout her name, noticing her walking through the village alone. She turns around seeing me, Shikamaru, and Choji.

"Hey there," She said with a smile. "Are you guys going to train?"

"Of course! And we want you to come along!" I lied to her.

"Huh? Me? Why?" She asks me in confusion.

"We just want someone to heal us to save time," Shikamaru said to her.

"I'm still learning how and-"

"Don't be such a baby. Come on, let go!" I grab her arm and pull her away.

Lee's Point of View

"Naruto, there you are!" Neji said as he, Tenten, and I found him at his favorite ramen restaurant.

"Hey guys. Here to eat?" Naruto asks us while eating.

"No, actually, we're here looking for you and want to ask if you-"

"We want you to train with us!" I said with so much pride cutting Tenten off.

"Alright! Let do it!" Naruto shouts in excitement. Then pay for his meal, and we walk off to our meeting point with the others.

Hinata's Point of View

"Training?" (y/n) said, and I nodded.

"We thought we could use a Chunin Level ninja to help us," Shino said.

"I would like to help, but I just finished my own training, and it took a lot of energy out of me and Spicy..." She said, which isn't good.

"Fur ball," Kiba said his nickname for her. "We just need someone to give us some pointers to improve and to surprise our sensei. It would mean a lot to me if you could help out."

Kiba's words sound sweet. I look at (y/n) expression, which she is thinking. Then she shrugs her shoulders, "I guess if I don't need to move so much, then it's okay. Let's go, Spicy."

Third Person Point of View

Team 8, Team 10, and Team Guy have been observing Team 7's behavior for the past two weeks. They all didn't like how the three were not talking to each other. The fact that Team 7 is broken up doesn't please them. Especially if they're going on missions, it would lead to conflicts. So, Kiba, Shikamaru, and Ino thought of a plan to get them to all meet and make up. Once they did and the plan to get them to talk fails due to remaining silent, they decided to go for plan B.

(Y/N)'s Point of View

I finally got away from everyone who was chancing after me, Naruto, and Sakura. They all lied, asking us to help train with them, but really, it was to get us to talk to each other. Sadly, we were still mad to even talk. Well, mad at me mostly. I was mean to Sakura for her actions and words while also admitted to Naruto. I don't want Sasuke to come back. I don't blame them if they're still talking to each other, but it seems like they're not talking to each other either. It has been two weeks since we've last talked and seen each other.

When their plan failed, they apparently had a backup plan. A messed up one. They said if we weren't going to talk, they'll make us laugh instead. All of them attacked us to keep us from running away from them and ready to tickle us. Of course, we attacked back and continued to run. We'd eventually split up, but we're still being chased for an hour now. I finally stop running after heading in the woods to take a breath.
