Al stared in shock at the large dark clearing he found himself in. Somewhere above, in the brightening sky, the battle continued when he, like a little useless kitten, was thrown out to safety!

Annis came to her side. Despite the fact that she knew how to hover on a sword, all her spiritual powers were at the end, and she could not take off to return to battle. She could only look powerlessly into the sky!

It didn't take long for a flash to light up the sky, and teacher Shen's immortal sword fell next to the students. Al rushed to him, excruciating fear in his heart.

The next flash lit up the space, and the students saw teacher Muan quickly descending on a sword. He was holding some black hairy creature in his arms.

Jumping to the ground with Shen in his arms, Muan gently set him on the dark moss and began to share his spiritual energy. He could give quite a bit, otherwise he would have immediately collapsed next to him, but, fortunately, this was enough for Shen's deathly complexion to warm up at least one tone.

"Teacher Shen!" Annis exclaimed.

Kneeling beside him, the girl quickly began to remove from him the remnants of Honee's black hair, which he was still entangled with. Muan surrendered, let go of Shen's hand and exhaustedly sat down next to him on the moss. The thought that it was strange did not leave him: he himself had lost much more spiritual strength when he met the Plenty-Handed Spirit, but Shen somehow managed to exhaust all his strength, although they had been together all this time, and Muan still had strength. Of course, he messed up the procession a couple of times with his antics, but then he hardly used his spiritual forces ...

Looking at the girl leaning over Lord Shen, Muan noticed a talisman sticking to her shoulder blade. Taking it off and twisting it in his hands, he realized that it was a talisman for the transmission of spiritual energy. For some reason, this discovery made him even more confused. Yes, the owner of the Cursed Peak has been behaving strangely lately, but to believe that he, to his own detriment, shared spiritual powers with his disciples...

Muan looked down at Shen's face, which seemed to be devoid of blood.

«And yet the fact remains» he really did it, Muan finished the thought. There seems to be more honor left in this man than he thought.

Shen's eyebrows twitched as he came to his senses.

[Congratulations!] first of all he heard the distant, as if from a well, exclamation of System. [A new location has been opened " "Glade of a Thousand Spirits"!]

Shen did not find the strength to react to this. He was in so much pain that he barely opened his eyes. I just wanted to plunge into oblivion again, that's all. But, unfortunately, he woke up. And I already realized that the situation is not conducive to rest.

Annis and Muan loomed over him. The main character was stomping to the side, holding his immortal sword with the tip down and throwing frightened short glances at Shen, every now and then looking away.

Shen sat up slowly, spitting out black hair that somehow even got into his mouth!

"Teacher!" Se Annis exclaimed happily. "Are you okay?"

«Not all!» Shen thought irritably. «Everything is so wrong with me that I'm even too lazy to answer you!!»

The renowned cultivator had enough willpower to stand up and make an impenetrable face, but his body began to tremble from pain.

Shen finally looked around. They were in a clearing next to the stream. Its waters flowed smoothly, like frozen glass through which one could see the bottom in detail. The clearing was bounded on all sides by rocky slopes going up. Shen took a step - there were moss and pebbles under his feet.
