Shen strolled about the castle listening to Yer's novel performed by System. He examined all the rooms while listening to the novel. Chance upon that notorious wine vault while listening to the novel. Put the branch given by Muan into the water while listening to the novel. Meditated while listening to the novel. Walked along the black slopes of Black Lotus Peak listening to the novel. Slept listening to the novel. In the end he wanted to throw himself into the cleft of the Deep Darkness just not to listen to the story, but he was afraid that Yer would get him there too.

Although, in fairness, gradually the plot even became interesting and if it were not for the omnipotence of the protagonist for whom it was impossible to worry in principle, he was so good in everything, it would even be enthralling. Shen liked the style of the storytelling, but the protagonist... It was more likely not a novel, but an outpouring of all Yer's dreams about how he would like to see himself in next life, if he had an unlimited choice of powers and opportunities that are given just like that, easily for nothing.

[Chapter three hundred and sixteen. «My new trophy for a harem»], - System read. And yes, the new story of the scribbler was in the first person.

«Enough!!» Shen exploded. «If he does not tell me what I want, now, I will drive him out into another world! And it doesn't matter how much effort I have to spend!!»

All this time, while Shen was listening to the novel, he sometimes commented on events or interesting phrases that he liked and the System send his words to the Deep Darkness. Therefore now, when Shen burst into the hall with darkness, the blotter didn't been dying to impatience, but was more or less satisfied with the reader's comments.

"Tell me!" Shen demanded.

He folded his arms over his chest and stood before the darkness.

"Well..." Yer drawled. "Uh... Where do I begin... The immortal cultivator Ruret pronounced a malediction upon Shen. She destroyed her soul for this, completely, so the malediction acquired such power."

"And what exactly happened? Why did she do it? And who she even is?"

"You see... there is such a thing... I hardly remember," the paper stainer Yer confessed.

Shen gawped at him in startled eyes.

"Are you kidding or what?"

"No. I came up with this part a few years ago. It was just justify, I didn't get too hung up on it. Since then, so much water has flowed under the bridge, so many story arcs..."

Shen felt darkness erupt from the mark on his right hand.

"What are you doing!" the angry cloud shouted indignantly, began to wave its tentacles.

Shen silently placed his hand at him. The cloud screeched and hid in a cleft.

"Why are you so peppery!" was heard from there. "Shen has had a lot of negative things in the past! Live for the future!"

"How I would like to choke you!!"

About a month passed and no one disturbed his quiet solitude. Shen gradually began to feel lonely. System and the bloody inkster didn't dilute it too much, Shen wanted live communication. He was also worried by the fact that the decision of the Lords hadn't been announced to him. Did they really intend to isolate him here? And what will he do then?

Shen meditated on this for a while and came to the conclusion that they were unlikely to be able to imprison him at the peak like some kind of evil spirit. This means that maximizing what they can do - is banned on his being on other peaks and communicating with students. This, of course, will be regrettable, but hardly fatal, in addition to the peaks of the League RR there is still a rather expansive outside world.
