Chapter 23. Development of the relations

Meeting with an old chum somewhat erases Shen's melancholy and he grasps that he was not so looking for someone to host company.

"What's wrong with all these people?!" Shen was bridled with anger.

He was flying back to his peak when he felt a couple of bowls of wine that he had drunk with Lev went straight to his head. He nevertheless chose excellent wine; it was not for nothing that the jug was so beautiful. He was so led that he almost fell off the sword. He had to make an emergency landing at the Peak of Lurking Wind.

Shen was not too saddened by this circumstance, he always liked the landscapes of the Peak of Lurking Wind and in the moonlight they took on new outlines. Shen still could not cope with himself, he broke into a smile at all thirty-two and, waving his hand at them, hastily assured:

"Don't pay attention to me, I was just passing by. Consider that I was not here."

He turned away and moved on, intending to give them the opportunity to quickly return to the interrupted occupation, but he was immediately overtaken by the stomp of two pairs of hooves (crossed) legs and the main heroes blocked the road. With big bright eyes both began to vie with each other to shout at him, that's not what he thought! They looked desperate in the process.

Coping with the surprise Shen abruptly raised his hand to the children silencing them.

"Don't be afraid, I'm not going to report your violation of the rules to anyone," he assured them.

"No, teacher!" Se Annis exclaimed in her heart, stamping her foot. Her eyes seemed to be slightly moist from suppressed tears. "We were just practicing!"

"Allright, allright!" Shen already threw up both hands, protecting from her pressure. "I don't think I really need to know the details. I won't tell anyone, don't worry."

"Teacher!" Annis exclaimed even more demandingly. "Do you think I'm a child?!"

What a dangerous question! Shen froze, not knowing what to answer lest it lead to an even bigger storm. Instinctively he felt himself trapped.

Annis looked directly at him for an answer. Shen shifted his gaze to the main character. All this time he silently looked at the teacher with bright eyes.
