"And that's a wrap! Good work everyone, it's turning out great. But Ryan, work on your memorization. It's lacking a bit," Mr. Jeon said and Ryan nodded.

"Yes, sir. I'll work on it."

Ryan packed up his things and Rosé couldn't help but ask, "what's with this behaviour? You can't memorize your lines because you're memorizing the periodic table or something?"

"No," he replied and said nothing more. "Good work today," he said and gave a tight lipped smile.

"Hey, wait..." and Rosé hesitated when she asked this question, "is something up? Why do you seem so off this week?"

"It's really nothing, Rosé. Have a good day."

Ryan left the drama room and Rosé sighed to herself. She wondered why Ryan was acting so weird and she found herself thinking about him a lot that week because of it.

She felt her cheeks with both her hands and shook her head to stop thinking about Ryan.

"It's just that he's being weird... nothing else. I don't care that's he's been in detention with Jennie. They're dating. It's fine by me. Who cares about Ryan? Pft...."

"Hey, Ryan. How was your day?" Jennie asked when Ryan entered Dr. Kim's classroom. Dr. Kim wasn't in the room so Ryan took the chance to sit wherever wanted to—for now.

"It was fine, Jennie. How was yours?" he replied politely and sat at the desk next to Jisoo. She was reading from a math textbook as she took notes on a separate sheet of paper.

"Better now that you're here," Jennie winked and Ryan cleared his throat.

Lisa lifted her head from the desk, "cut it out, Jennie. You'll get us stuck in detention for the rest of the year with your horrible flirting."

"Are you jealous that I'm flirting with my boyfriend?"

Jennie crossed her arms and stuck her tongue at Lisa who pretended to gag. Lisa laid her head back on the table and closed her eyes.

"Boyfriend my ass..." Lisa thought to herself.

"We're not allowed to sit next to each other," Jisoo told Ryan.

"I'll just sit here for now. Dr. Kim isn't here yet."

Jisoo smiled shyly and focused on her writing again, then Ryan scooted closer to see her work. When she turned to him, his face was only inches away from hers.

"Calculus is so boring. Thank god I have you to teach me," he said and made eye contact with her.

Jisoo gulped and her eyes flickered to his lips for a split second before she turned her attention back to her textbook.

"Ryan, are you busy after school today?" Jennie asked as she walked over to him. She sat on top of his desk and leaned down to talk to him. "I was thinking we could get dinner together. Then some dessert afterwards."

Jennie ran her hand through Ryan's hair, as if she was fluffing it out and styling it the way she liked, and Ryan held her hand down to the table.

"Dinner would be okay. I'm not one for sweets, though."

"Ryan, she wants you for dessert," Lisa said like it was obvious. She suddenly jumped in because it seemed like Ryan didn't get the hint. She didn't quite know why she interjected though. "God, Ryan. It's like you've never heard of flirting before—Even though Jennie's flirting is horrible."

"Ha, as if your flirting skills are so great. I never saw you flirting with anyone except Chanyeol," Jennie shot back and Lisa shuddered from the thought of him. "Why must you always flirt with the boys that I like, Lisa? Or is it that you're trying to flirt with me instead?"
