28: Someone's Little Crush

Lisa rolled down the window and popped her head out. "Good morning, loser! You're sitting backseat today!"

Ryan smiled as he walked down the driveway to Bambam's Porsche. He approached Lisa at the passenger window and when he was close enough, he touched the bottom of her chin and pretended to wipe something from a corner of her lips. "You've gotta stop drooling over me, Lisa. Look at you."

Lisa's smile dropped and the colour drained from her face as Ryan left to get into the backseat. She gulped, feeling the butterflies in her stomach kick-start her adrenaline. Ryan was getting way too good at this flirting thing...

"Alright, buddy, we gotta set some ground rules here. No flirting with my cousin. Please," Bambam pleaded with slight disgust.

Not only did Lisa begin to join them on the ride to school every morning, and they would banter and flirt like that every morning, but Bambam was becoming suspicious of them. Especially, Lisa. She was acting different around Ryan. At first he thought she was just getting too comfortable but it was starting to seem like she could have a crush on Ryan.

"Oh, come on, it's just harmless flirting. You know I'm just playing," Ryan said as they began driving.

"Yeah, Bam... We're just... having some fun," Lisa said with a shrug. Although, she only said that because of what Ryan said. It'd be embarrassing to be the only one who thought their flirting was serious.

"Well, sorry to tell you this but Ryan's getting his new car next week so today's our last ride with him."

"What... Really?" Lisa asked, her voice full of disappointment as she turned to look at Ryan with puppy eyes.

Ryan nodded with a playful pout, "Mhm. But how about this? I'll pick you up every morning so Bambam wouldn't have to hear our flirting?" he suggested with a smirk.

"For god's sake! Say one more flirty thing and I'll drop you both off at the gas station!" Bambam complained in a groan.

Lisa and Ryan chuckled and shared smiles with each other. They read each other's mind and leaned towards one another, pretending to kiss. Bambam immediately put his hand between them and shoved Ryan towards the backseat.

"Stop it!"

"We're just kidding, Bam. Relax," Lisa said between laughs. "Let's take a rain check on that kiss, Ryan."

"Lisa, I swear to god..."

"I'll hold you too it, babygirl," Ryan replied.

"Ughhh, fuck you guys!"

"Tsk, stop asking me already!"

Jennie was sitting in the atrium with her two annoying friends, Taehyung and Jungkook. They were bugging her and asking questions about why Jennie's 'friends-with-benefits' fiasco with Ryan didn't work out.

"Just kiss and make up already! If y'all were fucking before then it shouldn't be that hard to pick it up where you left off!" Jungkook exclaimed. He's had much experience with friends-with-benefits and on and off relationships. It's not that hard to get back into it, you know?

Jennie rolled her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest. "It's not that easy. He already likes someone else."

That someone else was Jisoo. Okay, Jennie wasn't exactly sure if he actually liked Jisoo but she knew he didn't have feelings for her anymore. She was the one who started the rumours of them dating while Ryan was the one denying it. If he liked her, it wouldn't have been that hard to turn that rumour around..
