The next morning, Bambam drove to school with Ryan but there was a guest with him. Lisa was half asleep in the passenger seat as Ryan walked out of his house. Since he had been so persistent with physiotherapy, the bruise on his leg healed very quickly so he was back to walking without crutches. When he opened the car door, it startled Lisa and she suddenly sat up straight.

Lisa looked at her surrounding and said, "this isn't the school. Who's house is this- Ugh, nevermind. Hurry and drive to school, Bam."

Bambam and Ryan smiled at each other through the rear view mirror and the three arrived safely at school. Lisa dragged herself out of the car and the boys were quick to leave. She rolled her eyes at the sight of other students copying the way Ryan wore his backpack, which was having only one strap over his shoulder.

"What a loser," Lisa scoffed and without realizing, wore her back in the same manner. She stopped in her tracks and put both straps over her shoulders then took one off again. "Stupid backpack..."

"Why did we leave for school earlier today?" Ryan asked as he and Bambam walked into the school.

"I had to come to class early to work on a project. I hope you didn't mind getting up earlier, especially since you drank a lot yesterday- which was actually fucking awesome by the way. Let's drink more often," Bambam said with a bright smile.

"I'm not sure you can take it, kid. I'll be in the cafeteria doing work so I'll see you later," Ryan said and the two parted ways.

Ryan walked into the cafeteria and eyes lit up as he passed a few tables. The unnecessary attention was still weird to Ryan but he was beginning to get used to it. He sat down at an empty table and people eventually found their way to his table just to be near him.

"What're working on, Ryan? Do you need help? Because I'd love to help you out if you need me," a girl said and held his hand in her lap.

"I'm okay, thanks," he replied and took his hand back.

"If you need me with anything else, though, just give me a call. I- ah... uh." The girl stopped mid sentence and Ryan looked to where she looked.

Jennie was standing on the opposite side and had a glare on her face, she was glaring at the other girl.

"Leave," Jennie said and the girl scurried away. Then a smile appeared on Jennie's face after she left and Jennie moved closer to Ryan. "Hi, Jihun. What are you doing at school so early?"

"Ah, just doing some work. What about you?"

"My parents needed the car so they dropped me off at school earlier today, you know how they are," she said and Ryan nodded since Jennie complained about her parents a lot around Jisoo. "But now that you're here, I just remembered there was some research I have to do. Could you help me with it?"

"Research on what?"

Jennie held Ryan's face with both her hands and leaned down so that their faces were a foot apart.

"You," she replied in a serious tone.

"Oh, um... w-wh-what about me?" Ryan asked and  suddenly, Jennie closed her eyes and kissed his lips softly. Their mouths moved slowly against each other and Jennie pulled away seconds after.

"I just wanted to see if it was you or the alcohol that made me want to throw up," she shrugged and took her hands off his face. "I guess it was just the alcohol, but also... you're not a great kisser, you should work on that."

Jennie turned around and walked back from where she entered. Ryan looked around at the people who were staring then quickly packed his things to leave. Even though he sat down not too long ago, it was too uncomfortable to sit with people whispering about him being a bad kisser.
