I stare into Hiccup's face as he explains everything to me. How my brother broke out of jail and almost immediately clashed with Hiccup. Almost killed them, again. All the horrible things he's done. Like how Dagur is the one that kidnapped Gustav and threatened to hurt him if Hiccup didn't show up alone.

I realize that that's the real reason why Hiccup didn't want me to follow him. I cross my arms and stare down at the ground. Memories of Dagur as a young boy who had a laugh that didn't sound like an evil villain and who's smile made you smile and not cringe. "Ivy?"

"Why am I not surprised that he's the one that did all these horrible things?"

"I'm sorry, Ivy," Hiccup says softly and gently grabs my arm, pulling me close to him. I allow him to pull me into his embrace and wrap my arms around him, hugging him tightly. When we're this close it makes me realize just how much Hiccup has grown these last three years.

He's not the small, shy boy I met on Berk and I'm no longer the introverted, insecure little girl trying to hide from the world. We've both grown physically and mentally. The one that hasn't changed for the better is my brother and I intend to save him.

He's my brother. I have to. Mother and Father would have wanted me to try. At least I hope they would. "Hiccup, thank you. You've treated me with so much kindness ever since we met. Even when I didn't deserve it and I will always be grateful."

"It was nothing, Ivy. Besides everyone deserves to be treated kindly and you are no exception." I pull back slightly and rub the tears from my eyes. "Thank you for telling me the truth, Hiccup. I guess I can always count on you to be straight with me."

"Of course." I suddenly feel someone nuzzle my hip and look down expecting to see Nightwing, but instead it's Toothless. "What the-" I look and see Nightwing doing the same to Hiccup. She's never shown affection to anyone but me and to see her show it to Hiccup tells me one thing.

"Looks like she's accepted you," I tell the shocked brunette and he gives me a questioning look. "Accepted me as what?"

"As family."

"What?"

"Even though Nightwing gets along with other dragons and people she's never really openingly showed others affection like she does with me. So, her rubbing against you tells me that she's accepted you, she trusts you a lot more than before. What do you think, Nightwing? Is he a keeper?"

The female Night Fury purrs and nuzzles Hiccup again, Toothless does the same with me, making me smile. "I'll take that as a yes." I rub Toothless' head and scratch behind his ear causing him to grumble contently. I hear Hiccup chuckle lightly and I look to see him petting Nightwing's head.

"Alright, let's see how Fishlegs' sketch is coming along." I nod and our dragons pull back to give us space so we can begin walking up the steps to the Great Hall. We reach the top and push the doors open, our dragons following.

"Sharp! Did I say that it's sharp?" I hear Bucket exclaim and see Fishlegs standing in front of a shield with him. "I know, Bucket. We've gone over that 20 times."

"Well, it's got a very long tail. And it can tie itself into a knot, and..." He trails off as Fishlegs continues to draw. "Yes. Yes, that's right. And two large wings to slice..." Fishlegs makes the last adjustment and Bucket gasps in fear before screaming and running away.

Hookfang jolts upright at the sudden noise, causing Snotlout to hit the floor. "So?" I ask Fishlegs from my spot beside Hiccup, glancing at the drawing. "I've never seen anything like this in the Book of Dragons or Bork's papers."
