It was still early in the morning when I arrived at the university. Napag usapan namin na magkita-kita sa airport para mag paalam kay Trix pagkatapos ng klase. At first, I really dont want them to leave. Nauna nanga si Aki, sumunod pa si Trix but I know that it's for our future. Magkikita panaman kami after 4-5 years.
"There he is!" Tili ng isang istudyante sa university. "Tristan is really handsome" Napairap nalang ako. Tristan and the boys was quite popular since college. Maraming babae ang nagkakandarapa sakanila pero sorry nalang sila. May nanalo na. Okay, my confidence is quite high. I mean, normal lang naman siguro sa mga boys na magka-gusto sa iba pang mas maganda hindi ba? Not that I don't trust Tristan. I think it's human nature.
"Paano kung ikaw lang naman pala ang pinakamaganda sa paningin nya?" Napaisip ako "Siguro pero-- Tristan?"
"Hey beautiful" muntik na akong masuka "Cringe and Cliche" Natawa lang sya "What's so cringe about that" He definitely changed. From the Mr. Cold to Mr. Popular real fast. He now smiles a lot just to satisfy his fans. Makes me wanna puke.
"Why are you gritting your teeth?" Napairap nalang ako "Ate!" I saw Heather walking towards us with Zex so as Iris and Zev. "Are the others here?" Tanong ni Iris "Not yet, kilala mo naman si Brie at Luca.
"Mamaya panaman yun eh, pumasok nalang muna tayo" everyone agreed. Nauna akong umalis at pumunta sa first subject ko. Gusto ko kasi na mauna lagi bago paman makapasok ang iba para makapili ako ng magandang pwesto. I feel so drowsy lately, it's a good thing that I can still keep myself from falling asleep.
Time passes and it's already lunch. We wont be joining the others since there is one canteen in each department. Even though Tristan and I are from different departments, we still find ourselves sneaking out so that we can be together when it's time for lunch. Unlike Luca and Brie na nasa parehong Business Department ay magkalayo kami ni Luca dahil Fine Arts ang kinuha nya at ako naman ay Music Education.
"Can you pose for me" Sabi ni Tristan at inihanda ang canvas nya "It's for my art project. The professor said that I should paint someone who became a big part of our lives that's why Im going to paint you" Pinigilan ko ang ngumiti at tumingin sa malayo "Paint me like this. It'll look natural"
"Great Idea" He started painting while I was busy eating. My phone rang all of a sudden anf it was Brie. "Yo Brie?"
"Do you have classes"
"No why?"
"When is your next class?"
"Arround 3"
"Okay then. Let's go to the airport, nabago ang oras ng flight ni Trix" Then she hang up.
"Tristan, Brie said that we will go to the airport a lot sooner. "When is that?" He said saka inilapag ang paintbrush

After we got out of the airport, we took separate ways. I need to go to Dad's workshop. I was about to head out when Zev appeared in front of me. As usual with his lazy look "Where you goin?" Parang batang aniya. Pinaningkitan ko naman sya. We've been together for a year now and I know exactly what he wants when he sounded like that "Dad"
"Buy me a cake" Napabuntong hininga nalang ako. We've been together for a year and he still didn't change "Fine" Nagliwanag agad ang mukha nya saka niyakap ako ng napaka higpit. He goes crazy when it comes to cakes.
"Let go" Kaagad nya iyong sinunod "I love you"
"I love you too" I kissed him. "I have to go now" Kumunot ang noo nya "Wala kabang naalala ngayon?" I pretend not to know. It's our monthsary today and I prepared a surprise for him.
"Aish! Meet me at the willow tree near the lake" Lihim akong napangiti noong maglakad sya palayo habang nakanguso. He's Adorable.
"DADDDD!" I shouted as soon as I arrived at dad's messy workshop "Kristen! Help me with this" Napatanga nalang ako. He has eyebags. Is he even sleeping? His clothes are messy. Is he even changing it? His hair is also messy. Is he even brushing it?
"You look like a mad scientist" Sinamaan nya lang ako ng tingin kaya wala akong nagawa kundi tulungan sya. Wires are everywhere. Tool are scattered. Is he even cleaning?
"Kristen? Your here?" Mom gaved me a hug so as my sister who is now holding a plant. A middlemist red. "Where did you get this?" I asked her. Hindi ko namalayang nabitawan ko pala yung isang wire na pinapaangat ni Dad kaya bumagsay iyon sakanya "Ouch! That hurts!"
"Sorry" I helped him got up and mom just chuckled. He really likes making fun of dad "Hayy, bakla ka talaga Emerson" Asar ni mama sakanya "Kung ikaw kay ang bagsakan ko?" Tumawa lang si mom sa naiinis na si Dad. They're acting like a child again.
"We got it from New Zealand. It arrived this morning" My sister handed me the flower. "Anyway, where's the ring I told you to make dad?"
"Tsk here, tell Zev I made this. I want my future son-in-law to like me" I kissed dad on the cheeks "You're not going to propose are you?" Sabi ni mom na tinawanan ko lang. "Of course not. We're too young for that. It's just a gift for our monthsary"
"Anyway, I have to go" Niyakap muna nila ako bago tuluyang pinakawalan. "Don't forget the flowers" Nginitian ko lang si Ate saka kinuha ang flowers. One thing I recently know about Zev is he likes flowers. He mentioned that her mother owns a small flower shop back then. I'm sure he'll like this.
When I arrived at my destination, I saw no sign of Zev. "He'll be late again" Iling-iling na sabi ko sa sarili ko at naupo muna. Paupo na sana ako ng may gitarang tumugtog.
"Well, I will call you darlin' and everything will be okay..." I cant help but stare at him. Pinipigilan kong mapangiti ngunit tila may sariling isip ang mga labi ko at kusa itong kumurba

The tune stopped. He was staring straight in my eyes. I saw him grabbed something in his pocket. It was a black box.
He slowly knelt down and my mind went blank. I was just staring at him "I know it's early but I just want you to be mine, forever" Tumikhim muna sya bago nagsalita uli "Iris Kristen Lewis, I love you with all my heart. Will you marry me after we graduate?"
I couldn't say anything. Walang kahit na anong salita ang tutumbas sa kaligayahang nararamdaman ko. " Zev Olivares, I love you too until Cardo Dalisay dies and I will marry you" mahina syang natawa saka tumayo at isinuot sakin ang singsing.
"You make jokes now?" I hugged him "Dad was watching it at kusa lang din yung pumasok sa isip ko"
"It doesn't matter kung gaano mo ako kamahal. Every bit of love you have fore me counts" He kissed my forehead
