3rd Times A Charm | A Sprousehart Story

Chapter 43

Cole ran over to Lili and had her sit down on the couch. Lili cried in pain and due to being stressed, and overwhelmed.
Cole sat on the floor in front of her, and Amy sat next to her. He took Lili's hands into his, and Amy rubbed her back.

Cole: Lili my love, look at me.

She looked down at him with her watery eyes.

Cole: I know this is all so overwhelming. But you can do this. Ok? Your mom's here, i'm here. You aren't alone. Lili, you are the strongest women I've ever met. And I want you to know how much I love you. Ok?

Lili: o-ok. (cries)

Cole: I need you to calm down and relax. Just breathe.

Amy: Lili, I know this seems hard. I know how it feels. But trust me, when they put your baby on your chest, your going to forget about everything.

Cole: Ok Lils, let's go get you cleaned up, and then go have this baby. How does that sound?

Lili: Good. (sniffles)

Cole: Good. (smiles)

Cole Kissed her hands before helping Lili stand up. He took her into the bathroom and helped her change into grey sweatpants and one of Cole's shirts. Cole quickly got all the hospital bags and took them out to the car, while Amy helped Lili get in the car.
Cole drove while Amy and Lili were in the backseat.
When they got there Amy went inside and got a wheelchair since Lili was in to much pain. Cole helped Lili into the chair and then they took her inside.
As soon as they got inside, the nurses immediately took them up to labor and delivery.
The nurses had Lili change into a gown. Then they hooked her up to a bunch of different machines. One for Lili's heart and oxygen. And One for the baby's. One to track Lili's contractions. And many more. Cole sat on one side and Amy sat on the other. It was to early to give Lili an epidural, so she still was in excruciating pain.
Lili was only 3 centimeters dilated so she had a long way to go. Amy and Cole tried to distract Lili as much as possible to get her mind off everything. And it worked for some time but she got to the point when all she wanted to do was sleep. It was almost impossible for her to keep her eyes open anymore. And with that she closed her eyes a drifted off to sleep.
Amy had left the room for a minute, so now it was just Cole and Lili. Cole grabbed her hand and squeezed it. He stroked her hair as he whispered to her.

"I love you so much Lili you don't even know. I promise to take care of you and Harper."

Amy walked in and sat down. It was silent for a while until Amy said something.

Amy: So Cole, I know we haven't really had a chance to talk. But I want to talk to you about Lili.

Cole: Ok?

Amy: When Lili gives birth, she is going to be an emotional reck. Constant mood swings. So she will cry. A lot. And she will will feel all these different emotions. So please just take care of her and make sure she is ok.

Cole: Amy, I'll take good care of her. I promise.

6:32pm

Lili was now 7 centimeters dilated. The doctor came in to give Lili an epidural. He had her sit up, turn and face the wall. Cole sat in front of her and held her hand. When the needle went into her back she squeezed Cole's hand. Afterwards she laid back down. Once the doctor left, she got on her phone and swiped through social media. The room went silent for a while until Amy started a conversation.

Amy: Lili, while you were sleeping, I called dad. And both of your sisters and dad are going to be here tomorrow by 10am.

Lili: Thank you!

Amy: Your welcome (smiles). So when are you guys getting married?

Lili: We decided to do it next year. Probably in the fall time. And maybe we can do it in Ohio.

Amy: Oh ok.

For the rest of the night, they talked about random shit. They all had dosed off a few times but were awakened by nurses. Lili was still at 7 centimeters, so the nurses recommended that she got up and either walked around the hospital or just move around. So Cole and Amy helped Lili up out of bed. Lili didn't want to walk around so Cole suggested that they danced instead. And so they did. Lili held onto the IV poll as her an Cole slow danced. Lili had one arm around Cole's neck with her face hidden in Cole's shoulder. Cole had his arms wrapped around her. They danced for a while but Lili was getting tied out. So they stopped and she laid back down. Lili had not dilated at all, so the last thing left to do was to walk around.

March 24th
1:54am

Finally, there was progress made. Now, Lili was 10 centimeters. So now, she could start pushing. They got everything set up. And Lili started pushing. Cole stood on one side, while Amy stood on the other. They both held one of her hands, and Cole stroked Lili's hair. Lili pushed for hours and hours. The epidural had worn off by then, so she cried in pain. As they came closer to welcoming Harper into the world, Lili got tired and it was really hard for her to keep pushing.

Lili: I-I can't do this anymore.

Amy: Lili you have to. I know it hurts but your little baby is almost here.

Lili: I'm s-so tired.

Cole: My love, I know your tired but our baby is almost here.

Dr: One more push!

Lili: I can't. (cries)

Cole: Lils, you can do it. Do it for your mom. Do it for me. Please love. Please.

Lili looked at both of them, took a big breath and started pushing. And after a few minutes, they welcomed their baby girl into the world.

The doctor put Harper onto Lili's chest. The little baby cried and so did Lili.

Cole: Lili, look at our little girl. (smiles)

Amy: She's perfect.

Lili: She really is. (sniffles)

After a few minutes, the nurses took the baby over and weighed and measured her.

On March 4th at 4:32 in the morning,
Harper Grace Sprouse
was welcomed into the world.
She was weighed at 6 pounds, 4 ounces and 21 inches long.
Harper had dirty blonde hair, just like Lili. Harper had Cole's green eyes. She had Lili's nose and Cole's lips. She was perfect.

And yes i am extremely happy for him. although i love sprousehart, i think it'd be best if i stopped writing sh stories for now. don't worry i will definitely finish this story, but i will take a brake from sh. so the next story that will be coming out soon will be a bughead one. i'm not hating on Cole and his new gf at all.
