Chapter 11

Cole's POV

The car ride home was quite. Lili stared out the window. I grabbed her hand and rubbed it.
A little while later, we arrived back at home. When we got inside, Lili immediately went upstairs. I decided not to follow her because, it seemed as if she needed space. I threw my keys on the table and started to clean up the house a bit. As I was cleaning up the kitchen, I heard faint sobs coming from upstairs.

"Lili?" I called out

No response

I headed up the stairs as the sobs grew louder and louder. I walked into the bedroom and saw Lili laying on the floor, up against the bed, crying.

"Lils!"

I ran over to her and pulled her into my embrace. She was shaking. I could feel my shirt start to become wet from her tears.

"I'm scared Cole"

I hugged her tightly.

"I know baby, I know."

"Lils, look at me ok? I know I cant promise you anything, but just know, I am always here for you. If you ever need to talk, I am here. I love you so much Lili, and I never want you to feel like your alone in this world. Because your not. I hope you know that ok?"

She looked at me, and a small, but yet visible smile appeared on her face.

"I love you too" she said softly.

We sat there for what felt like hours. She calmed down after a while.

C: Are you ok now bubs?
L: Yeah I think so.
C: Let's get cleaned up ok?
L: ok
