Chapter 4

Lili's POV

It was Friday, November 10th. It had been a week since I started feeling like shit. This past week I hadn't gotten better. Headaches continued, throwing up nonstop. I could tell that Cole was worried about me. He insisted that I stayed home this week, but I persuaded him to let me go to work. I mean besides, production couldn't stop just because I was sick. The show must go on.
It was 11:37pm and we had just finished filming for the day. Cole and I went back to his trailer. We grabbed our stuff and headed home. When we got home, I went upstairs and crashed. A little while later Cole came upstairs. He laid down beside me and wrapped his arms around me. I quickly fell asleep.

3:38am

I woke up with a stabbing pain in my stomach. I brushed it off and tried to fall back asleep. But I got another stabbing pain. I started to cry in pain.

"Bub?"

I look over to see that Cole was awake.

C: Are you alright bub?
L: It hurts so bad.
C: What does?
L: My stomach.

Cole sat up and looked at me.

C: That's it, we are going to the hospital.
L: Why?
C: You've been vomiting all week, and on top of that your having serious abdominal pain.
L: I'm pretty sure it's nothing.
C: Well I just want to make sure. I love you too much to let anything bad happen to you.

All of a sudden I got another severe pain. I cried even harder.

"We need to go now!"

Cole's POV

"We need to go now!" I said.

I picked Lili up and brought her out to the car. I sat her down and shut the door. I ran over the the driver side and got in started the car and drove off. Lili cried in pain. I put my hand on her shoulder to try and calm her down.

L: Cole?
C: Yeah baby?
L: I'm bleeding.

I looked at her hand, and saw that it was covered with blood. In that moment, I knew I needed to get her there faster. A few minutes later we arrived at the hospital. I picked Lili up and went inside.
I ran up to the front desk and told them what was happening.
They immediately took her back in a wheelchair. Nurses started hooking her to all of these different machines, and doing tests on her. Watching Lili cry in pain hurt my heart. I held her hand the entire time.

"Cole." She whimpered.

"I'm right here baby. I'm not leaving you."

A little while later a nurse walked in.

"Alright Ms.Reinhart all your tests came back negative. So we are going to do a ultrasound, to see if we can figure out what is giving you this abdominal pain."

Lili looked at me with a worried look.

C: It's ok. I'm right here.
L: Are you sure?
C: I'm sure bub.

I watched as the nurse lifted up Lili's gown revealing her bare stomach. The
nurse put gel on her stomach and started moving the wand. I saw Lili flinch a little bit. I grabbed her hand and squeezed tight.
A few minutes passed. I looked up at the nurse. She had a sad look on her face.

"What is it?" I asked.

The nurse looked at Lili, then up at me.

"I'm so sorry to inform you guys. But by the looks of it, you've had a miscarriage."
