Chapter 19

Cole's POV

When Lili rested her head on my shoulder I knew something was up because of the fact that she has never done anything like that when I'm driving. Sure maybe she holds my hand or has her hand on my thigh. But never has she put her head on my shoulder. I decided to leave her like that.

A few hours later

We had finally arrived and Lili was still asleep. I lifted Lili's head up and gently placed a kiss on her lips. And she started to wake up.

(And yes I know it's a lot longer of a drive but for the sake of this story it's only a 6 hour drive😂)

C: Hey sleepy head. It's time to wake up
L: Hiii. What time is it?
C: 11:31am. But I have some good news and bad news. Which one do you want to hear first?
L: Obviously the good.
C: Well.... good news is, we made it safely to your parents house. But the bad news is that you fell asleep on me.
L: I'm sorry but I was tired and I still am tired.
C: Babes, is everything ok?
L: Yeah.
C: You sure?
L: Yes Cole I am sure. Can we please just get our stuff and head inside??
C: Yeah I guess.
L: I'm sorry I'm just really excited to see my family.
C: Yeah I know and I understand.
L: Ok.
C:I love you Lils
L: I love you too.

After we kissed, we got all our bags and went to the front door. I watched as Lili knocked and almost immediately the door swung open to be greeted by Amy, and Dan. And before I knew it we were swarmed with hellos and hugs. After we got inside, and Amy showed us around, Lili and I got settled in our room.

C: Lili, honey. Can we please talk?
L: Cole if this is about earlier, I said I'm fine.
C: Lili, I know your not ok. When we were in the car, you rested your head on my shoulder.
L: And?
C: You never do that. Just tell me please!

Lili started getting quiet so I pulled her into a tight hug.

L: I'm so sorry. I'm such a fucking emotional wreck. It's just my depression is acting up again.
C: It's ok, your gonna be ok. Tonight I will give you all the cuddles and love you want. Ok?
L: Ok (giggles)
C: I love you.
L: I love you too.
C: Now how about we go downstairs and go to breakfast with your family and then go shopping all day? Does that sound good?
L: Yeah.

Lili's POV

Cole and I went out with my parents. We went to Denny's for breakfast and a bunch of different stores. I bought a huge blanket for me and Cole. Once it hit 8pm, we knew that we had been shopping for to long. So eventually we made it back home. I ran to the bathroom because I had to pee really bad. I could her as they unpacked things before needing a little break. As I was washing my hands, I heard them talking about something before my mom changed the topic and started asking about the one topic that I was scared to even talk about.
