Chapter 22

Cole's POV

I didn't know what was up with Lili, and to be honest, at that moment I didn't care. All I know is that I'm just gonna keep my distance from her, before I do something to really piss her off, enough for her to leave me.
Breakfast was awkward. Everyone kept looking at me and Lili. It was probably because we weren't sitting together like we usually do.

Amy: You know what? How about just us girls go out today. Since tomorrow Chloe and Tess are leaving later today, and Lili and Cole leave tomorrow. And the boys can stay home and do whatever.

Chloe: I would love that!

Dan: Sounds good.

Amy: Well girls, go get ready! We need to leave here by Noon.

Lili had went upstairs to take a shower. And the rest just changed clothes. I decided to go upstairs to our bedroom to grab a set of clean clothes so that as soon as lili got out of the shower, I could take one. As I was getting my stuff I happened to turn around and saw lili standing in the doorway with a robe on.

Lili: Cole.
Cole: What?
Lili: Honey, can we please talk
Cole: I'm gonna go take my shower now.

I walked past her and went in to the bathroom. I turned on the water and got in.

Lili's POV

Cole had once again, ignored me. Yeah I get that I yelled at him, but I thought he would still love me and care about me. When I heard the water turn on I knew he was in the shower and he couldn't go anywhere. So there was my opportunity to finally talk to him. I quietly opened the bathroom door and slipped in through the small opening.

Lili: Cole.
Cole: Get out!
Lili: Nope, we are gonna have a talk.
Cole: Well I'm busy at the moment. It can wait.
Lili: No. It really can't.

I took of my robe and got into the shower with Cole.

Cole: Lili what the Hell?
Lili: Cole just please listen to me.
Cole: No not right now.
Lili: Fine then.

I pulled Cole into a kiss but he pushed away.

Cole: Lili what the fuck is up with you!? I thought you didn't love me anymore!
Lili: I do love you I-I-
Cole: Yeah ok.
Lili: I do!
Cole: Just get out. We will talk tonight, I promise.
Lili: ok.

I got out, dried off, quickly got dressed, and went downstairs. When everyone was ready we got in the car and went to a spa resort. And after we went shopping again. But this time we went to the mall.

Cole's POV

Once I knew Lili had left, I got out, got dressed, and then went downstairs.
I went over a sat down in the rocking chair. Dan had a football game playing on tv.

Dan: Listen, I'm sorry for Lili.

Cole: Dan you don't need to apologize. It's ok.

Dan: Well I know you two are very close and that's not like her to do that.

Cole: Yeah I know but it's whatever. I'm just gonna keep my distance from her. She's mad and I don't want to anger her more. But anyways I've been meaning to ask you this, but Lili was always around so I couldn't. But she isn't here so, I'm planning on proposing to her on her birthday. Like as her big gift. And I was wondering if you and Amy could be there when I propose. It would really mean a lot to lili.
