Chapter 40

4:41am

Lili's POV

I had woken up 14 minutes before the alarm was supposed to go off. Today was going to be an extremely busy day.

doctors appointment- 8:15am
interview about pregnancy journey- 9:00-9:15am
photoshoot with Cole- 9:45
separate photoshoots- 10:15am- 10:30am
Cast photoshoot- 11am
Cast interview- 11:30am- 12:30pm
Cast meeting- 1pm- 2pm
meeting with my agent about my upcoming poetry book- 2:30pm-3pm
meeting with acting agent- 3:05pm- 3:15pm
cast diner- 7:30pm

Instead of going back to bed, i got up and took a quick shower while Cole was still asleep. When i got out, I opened the door a bit to see if Cole was still asleep, and sure enough he was.

I got dressed and walked out of the bathroom and over to Cole. I crouched down and moved the hair out of his face.

"Hey, it's time to wake up." I whispered.

His eyes fluttered open.

C: Morning beautiful. (smiles)

L: Good morning sleepyhead. It's 5:12am you need to get up if you want to come with me to my appointment.

C: But i thought it was at 8?

L: It is but i want to grab a few baby things from the store. And I know we already have a lot of stuff for the baby, besides clothes and other things.

C: Lili, it's fine.

Cole sat up and gave Lili a morning kiss before hopping in the shower. As he was doing that, Lili made breakfast.They ate and got ready to leave.

8:11am

Lili had checked in and was now sitting down next to Cole. It didn't take long until she was called back. When they got back there, she laid down and lifted her shirt up. The doctor put the cold gel on her baby bump. Cole held Lili's hand as the watched their baby pop up on the screen.

Lili: Quick question, when is the baby due? I was never told the due date.

Dr: March 26th.

Lili: Thank you.

Dr: Your welcome. Anyways, you have a healthy looking baby.

Lili: That's good.

Dr: Yeah. If you want, you guys can listen to her heartbeat since you are 20 weeks along.

Cole: We'd love that.

And just like that, they got to listen to the heartbeat of their baby.
Lili looked at Cole with tears in her eyes and a smile on her face. He smiled and stroked her hair. After about 10 minutes, they left and headed home for Lili's online interview with GMA.

8:56am

Lili was sitting on the couch in their living room, with her computer propped up and connected to GMA. After a few minutes the interview started.

Robbin: Good morning Lili.

Lili: Good morning. (smiles)
