Cole's POV

Today was Lili's birthday and I had a special surprise for her. I had left the house around 6:30 this morning so i could go make sure everything was ready. After that I went to a few stores and bought her flowers and some clothes. And some things for the baby. When I got home Lili was still asleep in the rocking chair, just where I left her.

She had a hard time sleeping the past few nights, so I'd rock with her in the chair until she'd fall asleep. Then I'd carry her upstairs to bed. But she'd usually wake up and we'd go back downstairs and lay back down in the chair.

I quietly walked past her and into the kitchen. I made Lili some breakfast and I got her gifts ready and set them next to her food.

It was time to go wake her up. So I went back out to the living room, carefully picked her up and sat down on the couch with her in my arms.

Cole: Lils, time to wake up.

I said while slightly shaking her awake.
She started to wake up.

Cole: Come on buggie, wake up.

Lili: (yawns) hi.

Cole: Happy birthday my love.

She sat up and looked him in the eyes.

Lili: Thank you. (Smiles)

Cole: Your welcome. Are you hungry?

Lili: I'm starving!

Cole: Ok then.(Chuckles)

She got up and went into the kitchen and saw everything that I had laid out in the counter. I went up behind her and wrapped my arms around her. My hands on her now bigger baby bump.

Lili: Cole, this is so sweet!

Cole: Like it?

Lili: Cole, of course I like it.

Lili turned around to at look me.

Lili: Coley, I love it. (Smiles)

I gave her a long kiss on the lips. In the middle of our kiss, Lili groaned, causing her to pull away and put her hand on her stomach.

Cole: Lili, is everything ok?

Lili: Let me see your hand.

Cole: Ok?

I gave Lili my hand and she placed it on her lower stomach. She put her hand over mine. All of a sudden I felt a huge kick hit my hand. I looked up at Lili and she had a small smile on her face.

Lili: Baby's kicking. She's sitting right on my liver. (Chuckles softly)

Cole: I can't wait to meet our little Harper.
