I walked out of my room and ran downstairs where I saw my mom sitting on the couch.

" ma, tawag mo daw ako?" -Jing Xiao

Umupo ako sa tabi ni mama.

" oh yes... I am... I mean l me and Si Cheng's mother are thinking that since you and Si Cheng are now getting married..." -mom

She held both of my hands before sighing and smiling at me.

Why do I feel that this is going to be good at the same time it's not.

" ...you should spend time with each other." -mom

Napakunot ang noo ko nung sinabi ni mama yun sa akin.

" and what do you mean by that, mom?" -Jing Xiao

Bakit parang kinakabahan ako sa sasabihin ni mama.

Seriously, kung naririnig niyo lang ang tibok ng puso ko.

Para akong hinahabol ng aso.

" well, you and Si Cheng will be living in the same house." -mom

" kami ni Si Cheng?! Sa iisang bahay?!" -Jing Xiao

Napatayo ako dahil sa galit.

Biglaang sumulpot yung lalaking yun which made me look at him.

" Masyadong mabilis and besides we are still young. Bawal pa yan." -Si Cheng

He placed both of his palms on the sofa.

Kinuha ko yung unan na malapit sa akin bago ito itapon sa kaniya.

" hindi ikaw yung kinakausap ko. And I don't mean it that way. Para kasi tayong leon at tigre kung mag away." -Jing Xiao

" ah, talaga?" -Si Cheng

He teases making me cross my arms and glare at him.

" gusto mo ma try? Pwedeng pwede." -Jing Xiao

He just rolled his eyes before walking away from me and my mom.

I rolled my eyes bago tumingin sa mama ko.

" ma, I really don't want na magkasama kami ni Si Cheng! Alam mo naman yun at yung pinanggagawa niya sa school diba?" -Jing Xiao

" anak, he is just teasing you. Don't worry, his mother will talk to him about that. Okay?" -mom

Sabi ni mama before patting my back.

Tumango nalang ako bago pumunta sa kuwarto ko.

Just teasing me?

Wow ang ganda naman ng teasing lang.

Yung pagpapahiya sa akin sa harapan ng buong school, is that even considered as teasing only?

I slammed my door closed as I plopped down the bed and saw the sketchbook.

Kinuha ko ito agad bago ko itinapon sa pader ng kuwarto ko.

I sat up straight before shouting loudly.

" WHY?! Out of all the boys out there?! Why him?!" -Jing Xiao

Biglang nag ring ang phone ko which made take it and answer it without even looking at the caller's id.

Phone call

Jing Xiao: speak.

Yi Ren: woah... What happened to you girl?

Jing Xiao: oh Yi Ren, it's you.

Yi Ren: yes it's me. Now tell me why are you so mad?

Jing Xiao: Sorry I'm just not in the mood today. Anyways wassup?

Yi Ren: nothing much. And what do you mean by 'not in the mood today'? Did something happen to you. Or it's just because of the you know.

Jing Xiao: both.

Yi Ren: ...

Jing Xiao: hey are you still there?

Yi Ren: yeah, pero I don't get it.

Jing Xiao: ugh... Stomach cramps and... Something.

Yi Ren: may tinatago ka noh? Ano yan, spill the tea, my dear. You know me. I keep a lot of your secrets and you do as well. So trust me. Tell it, sister.

Jing Xiao: alright, alright. Pero promise me na hindi ka sisigaw.

Yi Ren: I'll try.

Jing Xiao: okay... Well. My parents arranged me with Si Cheng.

Yi Ren: ah... Sandali lang. Pwede ilayo mo muna yung phone mo sa taenga mo?

I shrugged my shoulder before placing my phone down which was followed by a high pitched shout.

I picked up my phone.

Yi Ren: I'm done. Now tell me why did your and Si Cheng's parents arranged you with Si Cheng?

Jing Xiao: yung parents ko kasi, they're friends with his parents. Then they decided to just arrange us.

Yi Ren: bakit hindi yung ate niya at kuya mo?

Jing Xiao: ewan ko ba sa kanila.

Nag-uusap pa kami ni Yi Ren nung biglang hinablot ni Si Cheng yung cellphone ko.

" uy! May problema ka?! Kita naman na nag-uusap pa kaming dalawa ni Yi Ren diba?!" -Jing Xiao

Tiningnan niya yung cell phone ko at biglang may pinindot.

Pinakita niya sa akin with the biggest smile on his face.

" ngayon hindi na." -Si Cheng

I-nend call niya yung call.

Kinuha ko yung ibang ko at tinapon ito sa kaniya.

" may problema ka ba?! Ano bang gusto mo?" -Jing Xiao

He smirked before walking towards me and trapped me between his arms.

" simple...ikaw." -Si Cheng

Si Cheng looked straight at my eyes making my heart to go faster.

" h-huh?" -Jing Xiao

" ikaw." -Si Cheng

I pursed my lips as I noticed his gaze moved somewhere else.

" a-anong a-ako?" -Jing Xiao
