I placed my books inside the locker and closed it afterwards.

I leaned my head on my locker's door still thinking of what happened last night on the restaurant.

What should I tell He Nian?

I banged my head and groaned.

" Yah! Byun Jing Xiao! Come here! Quickly!" -Yi Ren

She pulled me outside the hallways before showing me her phone.

There was a picture of me and He Nian kissing that was posted by an anonymous person.

I took Yi Ren's phone out of her hand and started to scroll down to read the comments.

" isn't that Jing Xiao?"

" I thought she is getting married with Si Cheng?"

" why is she kissing another guy if she is going to get married already?"

" ew, she's already a nerd and she's also a flirt."

" She is so lucky with Si Cheng, but she have the guts to kiss another guy? Ew!"

" who's the other guy though?"

" they said it's her childhood bestfriend."

I groaned before giving the phone back to Yi Ren and covering my face with both of my palms.

" I didn't know that you and He Nian kissed." -Yi Ren

" he kissed me! But I pushed him away. I was not the one who kissed him! Or even enjoyed that." -Jing Xiao

Yi Ren patted my back and together we went to our classroom.

On the way there, we heard some whispers coming from the students on the hallway.

" Si Cheng doesn't deserve to be hurt by that flirt." -student

Yi Ren halted before facing the girl and hitting her with her bag.

" what did you call my bestfriend?! Repeat it! Say it to my face! How dare you to call my best friend a flirt huh?!" -Yi Ren

I tried to stop Yi Ren but she grabbed the girl's hair and fought with her.

" Yi Ren stop that!" -Jing Xiao

I yelled trying to pull her away from the other girl.

" stop that!" -???

There was a boy who came and stopped the two of them.

I looked at the guy and saw Si Cheng with the others.

" teacher is coming, you guys go to your classrooms." -Si Cheng

He turned his head towards me and rolled his eyes before walking away.

Looks like he already saw the post.

" come on, Jing Xiao." -Yi Ren

She grabbed my arm and 'fancily' pulled me towards our classroom.

Time Skips...

I covered my ears while walking out of the hallways of our school, to avoid me from hearing the whispers and gossips students are talking about.

Yi Ren ran beside me and placed her palm on the back of hand to cover it more before walking inside the cafeteria.

I let out a deep sigh of relief and sat down on the vacant table.

Why does this have to happen to me?

He Nian is just my best friend.

I massaged my temples before banging my head on the table.

" Yah! Don't hurt yourself. That won't do anything to relieve you." -Yi Ren

A groan left my mouth as I run my fingers through my hair, frustratingly.

" girls, did you already see the post?" -Jacob

I heard Jacob said before sitting beside Yi Ren.

" as you can see." -Yi Ren

Yi Ren pointed at me.

" she have been banging her head on things lately, after she saw the post online." -Yi Ren

" oh... Don't do that, little girl." -Jacob

He said as he stood up and hugged me from the back.

" I don't like seeing you hurting yourself." -Jacob

I felt him pout as he gently patted my head.

" Jacob hyung! Where is the other boys?!" -He Nian

I heard He Nian yelling making Jacob let go of the hug and making me look at him.

" J-Jing Xiao." -He Nian

He tried to talk to me, but I stood up and walked away from him, remembering what happened last night.

" Jing Xiao! Jing Xiao!" -He Nian

I did not listened and continue to run away from him, not bothering to even look back at him.

I saw our classroom and got inside it before sitting down and burying my face on my palms.

" what are you doing here?" -???

Nakarinig ako ng boses ng isang lalaki.

I saw Si Cheng crossing his arms and sitting in a chair that is a few seats from mine.

" I wanna avoid some things." -Jing Xiao

" and by that do you mean, some...body?" -Si Cheng

" shut up, will you?" -Jing Xiao

" you are avoiding your best friend aren't you?" -Si Cheng

" so what? You don't have to care about it." -Jing Xiao

" well, let me guess. You are avoiding you childhood best friend because of what happened last night, and by that I mean because you kissed him?" -Si Cheng

I raised my head and turned it to look at him, whose face is just a few inches away from mine.

" what? Why can't you answer me?" -Si Cheng

" I-I-" -Jing Xiao

" so it's true? You did kiss him, didn't you?" -Si Cheng

I rolled my eyes.

" why aren't you answering me, huh? Jing Xiao?" -Si Cheng

" I don't want to talk about it okay?" -Jing Xiao

" so you really did kiss him." -Si Cheng

I groaned before standing up and walking away but he grabbed my arm and pulled me closer to him.

" answer me you kissed him didn't you?" -Si Cheng

I yanked my arm from his grip and walked away without saying anything.
